Belkin N150 Micro Wireless USB Adapter (F7D1102tt)

For the price I got it for (~$15), I was able to regain wireless on my laptop after the wireless card/switch broke. Pros: -The adapter is tiny (like the nano receiver you get with some Logitech mice) With its compact size I was able to stick it in the back of my laptop and forget about it. -The speed is decent, for general web surfing and watching videos at least. I wouldn't use this for anything that demands the utmost performance though. Meh: -Yeah, you have to install drivers from a CD, but it was easy and really wasn't a big deal... For computers without a CD drive though, you may have to go to Belkin's website on another computer and download the drivers to a flash drive and install from there. Cons: None. I got what I wanted

I bought this because my internal wireless card on my Sony Vaio was going out (it worked intermittently). Since I purchased this wireless adapter I've had no problems connecting to the internet. The speed of my internet doesn't seem to be slowed down at all by using this device instead of the internal one. Also, it's so compact that I don't have to take it in and out when putting my laptop in it's case. This was super easy to get going. I just put the disk in that comes with the device then followed the instructions. It took 5 minutes and wasn't frustrating at all. I'm really glad I chose this device. I would recommend to anyone.

Installation on my desktop PC was VERY quick and easy. No problems connecting to Wi-Fi router. The range was not as far as I hoped however. This could be because there were two concrete block walls between PC and router and the distance was 100+ feet. I was also very pleased with the speed of the order - it arrived several days before the scheduled delivery date.

we had purchased a laptop [lenovo u310] which seemed to have a poorly designed wireless card in it. After trying to get it fixed and getting the run around... we turned off the internal card, purchased this item and plugged it in. The laptop [win 8 os] identified it immediately, automatically installed the drivers and we were able to get online in about 2 minutes from plugging it into the computer. This adaptor is perfect... zero hassle and seems to be very zippy. Would purchase again - it is really inexpensive and works! A perfect combination! What more could one person want?

Inexpensive WIN 10 driver doesn't load properly all the time at boot. Otherwise happy it works great :)

Seems to work when I plug it in, but over time I think it heats up and doesn't find networks anymore.

Works great from the start. Installation was easy and straightforward. Pop in the CD and wait for the install program to prompt you to plug in your adapter. Have had no problem with connecting either of the machines I have installed this on. I am a computer tech and these work great for replacing a laptop adapter which has gone down, especially in those cases where the built-in adapter is difficult to get to. Once pugged in it is unobtrusive and can remain plugged in to your USB port without much fear of getting snagged by your bag when you are transporting your laptop. I always like to have one on hand when a client calls with a laptop which has connectivity issues.

My husband's Acer, mainly used as a toy and surfing the internet stopped working one day. Wireless card was dead. Didn't want to spend a lot of money on repairs as he'd had it almost 2 years and it didn't cost that much to begin with. Saw a computer repair man who was kind enough to tell me what I could do and even where I could find the Belkin adapter for the cheapest price. Ordered it, got it in one day, put it in and voila! Computer back in business and the hubby is happy that he can play his games and surf the internet. Life saver in the winter as he gets very bored. Definitely happy with the product and the timely manner that Amazon got it to me.
