2/4/21 - updated review: The company saw my original review and immediately contacted me, refunded my money and sent me new collars which they tested prior to shipping. Amazing customer service. The new collars work well - the beep function is loud and consistent, and the spray seems to deter both my dogs well. I have not tried it with the remote (have no reason to) but as an automatic collar, they do the job. My only knock is that even if the dogs are not barking, the charge doesn't last super long - I wind up recharging every night, but for the price, that's totally fine. Would order again, just to support a company who cares this much.I just charged them up and filled with citronella to use for the first time, and BOTH collars dont work. Theyre fully charged, I tried all the settings. Neither collar sprays with a bark or remote. They do make an annoying clicking sound. Im a Veterinarian with no small amount of experience in spray collars, and was skeptical because of the price. I was right to be skeptical- these are garbage.

Unfortunately, my dog is totally ignoring this correction. Set up was easy. Operation is easy. Refilling is easy, although you can't tell what the level is. Our collar arrived with charging and refill flaps that wouldn't stay shut. If you have a dog that loves rain, this could be a problem. Just OK.

This helps my dogs with barking

Dislike the vinyl collar. Makes it very hard to keep the unit adjusted to the right size to avoid slippage. Wish it was a mesh strap so it was better for fitting. Dislike that the covers to the usb and filling tube do NOT stay closed. As far as performance - love that it only takes a couple times and my dog has figured out that barking is not the thing to do even outside in the windy yard. She doesn’t like the spray and quiets right down - as long as I can keep it adjusted properly. Overall the unit idea is great - a few design upgrades would be nice. Why I marked it a 4 and not a five star.

I have a golden doodle that barked constantly, people walking by, just barked at the air. I watched the video for setting this up, which took no time at all. There have been no ill effects to my puppy from the citronella spray. When it goes off she kind of pops up and shuts up instantly. I started using it remotely watching her in the yard and making it spray when she would bark. First I would warn her with the beep, then the spray, which there is a small and larger spray. You have to work with the dog, but in no time at all, it really works. This collar was recommended to me by my niece who is a vet tech. I am happy. My puppy is happy I am happy with her. It also came with a dog whistle which I trained her to come when I blew the whistle by rewarding her with a piece of cheese. She rarely came when I called her in from the back yard if she was having fun. Now she always comes when I use the whistle. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with a puppy that loves to bark and won't come when you call her/him. It also lasts all week on one charge if you turn it off when the dog comes in and turn it back on when they go out again.

The media could not be loaded.  I have two dogs that I was trying to train (mainly to keep them from barking). I tried myself from when they were puppies until 6 months old with little success. Once they were old enough for these collars to be safe (6 months) I had to try. I bought this set as well as an extra collar. The remote that comes with this collar can also be used with a second collar that you can buy separately for less that this whole package. I expected results, what I did not expect was for it to work so quickly. The collar is not too big and is comfortable on my dog. I use the citronella spray (which by the way the spray has to be purchased separately). At first I did 15 minute training sessions using the remote. When my dog would bark I would do the beep then a light spray. The first few times I sprayed him you could tell he did not like it. What surprised me is after a couple days of training I did not need to use the spray at all. If my dog would hear the beep from the collar he would stop immediately because he knew a spray was coming. There is also an auto bark feature which is nice just to keep your dog in check when you are not around to use the remote. No regrets at all this is a wonderful training tool. This collar is a wonderful piece of technology! Our trainer recommended this for our 6 month old goldendoodle who is very very ‘vocal’, and he has a ‘people sensitivity’. He came into our family on March 17th, right before everything shut down for quarantine so he was very well family bonded but I don’t think he realized there were other people in the world. This has been such a challenge for us, as now, when he sees people he literally turns into Kujo. Not even kidding!Within days of using this collar he has entirely stopped barking short of a woof here and there. We are using citronella, but I love that it gives a warning beep before it puffs the spray. He understands now and it gives him a chance to reign himself in. I think it’s actually made him more aware and curious because he’s not losing his mind with the barking. He’s more watchful and curious. It’s great in the car because the barking right behind my head was about to make me crazy and deaf. I love that you can use the remote for other types if training cues, and it can be on automatic for when he’s off leash at the dog park. This has saved my life!
