Confirmation after paying said delivery would take over a week, it arrived in 3 days. Sturdily packaged and easy to remove. No damage (almost). Well constructed and no assembly required. Only gripe was that there was only 1 screw in place on the bottom rear holding the fire in the surround, result was the fire could move slightly thus leaving a slight scratch on the white base front - Not readily evident though. Be aware a 13A rated extension will be required if no wall socket nearby. Flame effect is good the heater is very efficient for a 13 x 13 room even at 1k. I like the dimmable flames and the remote control is simple and well designed. The whole thing says quality and it is a perfect compact size.

Great product but made by children in China. Screws loose in bottom of box. Base damaged. Fan motor sqeeking. Surround full of filler. Low price to try and get rid of returned stock. If you get a reasonable one you are very lucky.

The product adds a fireplace to a house without a chimney and provides a realistic flame effect which seems to warm the room even though no heat is on! The fan heater is thermostatically controlled and takes the chill off but I rarely use it.The oak surround matches my furniture which is why I bought it. I would have preferred the product to be a little taller but the proportions are fine on the whole. The “ fire grate” looks like a proper solid fuel fire and is effective,the real pebbles that come with it are a bonus.Thoroughly recommend this product

I bought this fire and surround as I’ve always wanted one and it certainly does the job. The flames make your room feel lovely and cozy. The electric fire part is great as it has 2 different levels which do let out a good amount of heat. It also has a timer but we haven’t worked out how to use that part yet.Very good value for moneyThe only reason I didn’t give it a 5 *star review is that when it was delivered the base was slightly broken. I think the delivery driver dropped the box as it was broken open at the bottom!!!!

DO NOT BUY. I bill purchased this item on 27/01/24. When it arrived it didn’t work once plugged in. I initiated a return on the 07/02/24. The product was received by Amazon on the 09/02/24. I was told the refund would be issued by 16/02/23. On this date, the refund wasn’t processed, then I was told I would have to wait until 25/02/24 for my refund to be processed. That’s almost 3 weeks from them receiving the item. If you don’t want this problem, I repeat… DO NOT BUY.

Comes with a handy remote just don’t lose it down the back of the sofa

This fire was purchased for my elderly mother, whose previous fire had broken. As my mother has limited mobility, a remote controlled fire was essential. The fire arrived undamaged and was well packed. Setting the fire up couldn’t be easier and was essentially just a matter of taking it out of the box, arranging the pebbles and plugging it in. The fire looks stunning and the flame effect is excellent. The heater works really well too and is fairly quiet when in operation. My mother is extremely happy with it. We highly recommend this fire!
