Bought for my great granddaughter. Very cute.

perfect for my daughter’s 6th bday gift. it plays snippets of a few different songs, all lovely. she loves the changing light colors. the self blowing snow is great, as little kids could very easily drop and break this if they had to shake the snow themselves. i also like that it comes in 2 sizes (we got the small one). there are 2 minor annoyances. the packaging is a little shoddy. there’s a piece of styrofoam for the glass part, but not the base. which would be ok, except the box is bigger than the contents, so it moves around during shipping. our first one came broken, so we had to exchange it. also, the music is a touch loud, but tolerable. overall it’s a wonderful product, and my daughter loves hers!

Update: the snow globe broke as stated in the previous review below but the seller reached out and noted they are going to make the glass thicker to help increase its durability but keep in mind this is made for looking at not necessarily to play with. This is very pretty but my child had it for three day and dropped it from about 2 feet and it shattered all over the floor (thin rug floor). The glass globe is very very thin glass. The music is played by switching an on/off switch and I needed to place a small strip of tape over the speaker because it’s very loud. My child loved the volume but I could hear it downstairs with the door shut. The glass globe changes colors as the song plays and my child loved that part. It plays multiple songs (several I did not recognize) and a slightly unique version of twinkle little star. My child could not tell it was twinkle little star unless I sang the words.

****DO NOT BUY FOR KIDS****My 4 year old daughter held her tiny hand in the top of it and it shattered on her lap, leaving thin shards of glass all over her lap! This product is made cheap and the glass is VERY thin!

The pictures do not do it justice! There are a few different lullaby songs that play (might be a bit loud for an infant), the color changing background and the fan that keeps the snow moving are just a delight for my daughter. It was and still is one of her favorite gifts she received at Christmas!

For my granddaughter. She collects snow globes. She was doubly excited that is was a unicorn AND it played music, she was also tickled by the light show it provides. She stated this was the best snow globe she has received from anyone one, her collection of dozens - comes from our/her travels as far as Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Canada, and the US. She has collected from her other grand parents, as well as other family members. The quality is exceptional solid yet still delicate. A great purchase!!
