Women's Summit Breeze Crushable Straw Hat

I purchased this hat for a trip. I wanted this brand because I have one of their hats already and it's really tough. I use it when I'm in the garden or yard and it's been through a lot. When it gets dirty, I just put soapy water in the sink, swish it a round and rinse. The old one is black, however, and I wanted a lighter color. This one also has a chin strap which I did not have on the old one. I would recommend these hats for anyone who needs a sun hat.

I love this hat and have had many compliments on it. Some years ago I bought this in another color. Looked high and low but never could find the same model in any store. Amazon to the rescue! I seem to have a "pointy" head and difficulty finding hats to fit. The small/medium is perfect. I always install under-the-chin ties on my hats (usually made with shoe laces) to keep them on my head in a breeze, and this is no different. But it does the trick. I'm still wearing the brown heather version of this hat but may buy a backup so I don't worry about losing or damaging it. I am able to roll up these hats and squeeze them into my tightly packed camera bag with all my gear. They come out looking great!

I don't know if this is crushable: That's a pretty bold statement to make. In fact, mine does have a few deep creases after surviving multiple luggage transfers (to match multiple connecting flights). That being said, I do love the hat! It fits my slightly-larger-than-"normal" head, is floppy in a subtly sexy way (where you can still see if you're about to walk into a tree), blocks the sun off my Midwestern-white face, and goes with way more outfits than I had imagined. And I bet those creases will come out with wear.I'd give it a thumbs up. And no, I didn't hurt my thumb walking into a tree.

This has been to Mexico with me four times. It folds and then unfolds perfectly after flying. I gardened in it and do not want to ruin my travel hat so am purchasing again. It is lightweiht and the brim is NOT floppy and too wide which is a negative for me. It was my third try for a travel hat and completely perfect.

I ordered a L/XL, but the hat is just average size. It does not fit my head.I have other L/XL hats from the same brand that fit well.Cute hat, crushable and stylish but returned due to size.

I ordered this hoping it would fit a bigger head. The large / extra large size is more like a large. Great looking hat though.
