These worm well for making bends in smaller gauge wire. I mostly use these for forming small wires and leads in electronic assemblies. This they do well.Hard drawn wire (piano wire used to make springs) will require a mounted vise, plyers, and more.

Bought these pliers for making loops in .52 gauge wire. Pliers arrived with a minor bend in one of the tips (tips don't meet at the end.. Tips flex when bending the wire and the bend in the one end makes it impossible to hold the wire securely. Would likely do a fine job bending lighter wire. Will be returning these for a set that is more substantial.

It’s a good tool that has just the right weight to it & easy to manipulate. I think it’s durable & will last.
