Powersonic High Rate PSH-1280F2FR - 12 Volt/8.5 Amp Hour Sealed Lead Acid Battery with 0.250 Fast-on Connector Flame Retardant Case

The original battery in my Slime COMP 07 air pump died a very premature death (less than 1 year with very occasional use). From reading many reviews, this appears to be a common issue with that air pump.A bit of research led me to this as a replacement battery. The new battery is a bit larger physically and has much greater capacity (8.5 vs 4.5 amp hours). The connectors were the same on the old and new battery and installation did not require any modification of the wiring. It took about 5 minutes to install and now everything works great.The symptoms of the old, dead battery were a completely dead pump. When plugged in, no LEDs illuminated and there was no indication that a failed battery was causing the problem. I removed the battery and tested it. It is a nominal 12 volt battery. With a multimeter, it tested at about 11 volts for about 1 second and then immediately dropped to 2 volts. This indicated that the old battery had indeed failed.

Not keep charge for what it suppose to.

Ordered this to replace one I had in my Campbell Hausfeld cc2300 rechargable portable 12 volt air compressor inflator. It charges wonderfully, it just works great! Used it recently during the hurricane to charge several cell phones when we had no electric power and the battery performed very well.

I bought this for a TrippLite G1000U. It fits and it works.I attach this to power once every week for about six hours. I only use it as a standby power supply. Therefore the battery was not kept hot, was not overcharged, and was never discharged very far. The charging every week assured that it never was allowed to self-discharge very far.Despite this “kid’s glove” treatment, the battery only lasted a little over three years. Lead acid batteries should last at least five years.I had purchased this same battery for another, identical TrippLIte UPS back in 2016. That battery is just about gone. Six years is what I would expect.It appears to me that the quality of these batteries may have diminished.

These 4 batteries are for an APC S15 battery backup and must have a fire retardant case.

The battery had different size connectors than my air pump. I changed them to get the battery to work. This was even through the add said that it would work on my pump.
