Surprisingly Good Quality and Comfort
So far I've been pleasantly surprised by this set. I started at something like 16g, and now, three months later I'm at a 10g (and going). Unfortunately this set doesn't come with a 16g taper, which is why I bought a different set in addition. In inspecting the two sets, this one for $13 and the other for $26, I couldn't really tell a difference in construction. I was worried the cheaper set would have more nickel and other allergens in the metal; I have reacted to copper and nickel in the past. So far no reaction at all with these; just the usual minor itching as my ears grow to the next size. And this kit comes with a little piece of paper which lists suggested wait time between gauges; I've found that incredibly convenient. For other beginners: I don't wear the tapers; I just use them to slide on the corresponding plug. The rubber bands on the smaller plugs are a bit adventurous, getting caught in hair or clothing sometimes and heading out on their own. Fortunately there are plenty that come with the kit (take them from the tapers) and with the larger sized gauges you can borrow the bands from the smaller gauges for a tighter fit. Happy ear growing!

Choose Stainless Steal Over Acrylic.
I originally bought the Cabbe Kallo Acrylic taper kit. There was nothing wrong with quality and packaging, however my ears would only stretch to an 8, and I noticed bacteria build up. So, I bought the stainless steal and they are 100x better. They go in much easier, stretch better, and are cleaner. They come in a nice box, all sizes in individual baggies with tapers and single flare tunnels with the O rings already on them. They have extra O rings as well. Definitely recommend! Great price as well.

HIGH QUALITY! SAFE for those with allergies/sensitive skin
They dont make my ears itch like a lot of cheap 'steel' plugs. That alone gets 5 stars. These are actually pretty high quality for the price. Surprised, because with plugs you usually pay for what you get.The color does not peel or scratch off. (: They are perfect!

They get the job done, but...
I’ve only been able to successfully use the tapers to stretch and not so much the tunnels due to the poor quality of metal. I had one ear that didn’t mind them and the other just wasn’t having it. I didn’t understand why said ear was continuously getting irritated and swelling. I assumed it maybe had scar tissue or I was fiddling with it too often. Perhaps, I thought because I slept on that side, but alas I decided to remove the tunnel and placed a wood (then later glass) plug in and within a day the problems went away. So if you’re perhaps sensitive as well I wouldn’t bother worrying about color of metal or just go with a higher quality kit or a kit with glass plugs vs the metal tunnels. I’ve found while stretching the glass really seemed to help move things along nicely.

Thumbs up! Recommended!
I was shocked to find these at such a low price. Though I can’t attest to the elemental make up of the metal (hypo allergenic? Inferior elements?), I can say they’re free of any ferrous metals as they aren’t magnetic at all. The overall finish sees polished smooth enough. Under a loop you can see some minor flaws but the overall surface is smooth which is important.

The tapers themselves seem fine, but I'm not real happy with the tunnels
The tapers themselves seem fine, but I'm not real happy with the tunnels. They have very sharp edges which so far is making it impossible to put them in. So I'm left looking like a moron wearing the tapers waiting for my ears to loosten up enough to get the tunnels in. Also, one of the the 00 tunnels is not properly finished, so instead of a nice smooth surface it's all bumpy and rough. And lastly, I got the silver set and they are not shiny at all like the picture, they are very dull and ugly. As soon as I get to a big enough guage I will be switching to glass plugs and probably chucking the junky tunnels that came with this set. Nothing really lost for the price, but you definitely get what you pay for!

Surprisingly great quality for the price, but larger gauge tapers are too short.
Update: 4g to 2g was very difficult and everything beyond that got worse. The tapers are too short, so they increase in size too quickly. This was fine on the smaller tapers, but I've had to buy different tapers to stretch beyond 2g. I'm still giving them a 4 star review since it's still a great value for 14g-2g.I figured these would be mediocre quality due to the price, but they're great. Comfortable while in and didn't cause any irritation -so long as you lube them up before you put them in. I used coconut oil and it worked perfectly. The rubber bands can be a little tough to get onto the tunnels, specifically the 10g for some reason, but they stayed on once they were in place. Highly recommend.

Good quality, good price.
I stretched my ears a while ago, but I let them close due to personal reason, which they did not close all the way. But then I decided to stretch them again, and I was unsure what size they were currently at. So I got this thinking I would use a couple of sizes long story short my ears were at 0g so I only had to stretch up too 00g. But quality was great read some of the the reviews and used coconut oil on the tappers. Tunnels seem to be good to. Although personally I am not a huge fan of the single flair with the Orings in the back. But for me it's temporary until I size up again or get to the size I want to be at, and then I'll just buy tunnels or plugs I really like. But this product is at a really good price. I feel like it was more expensive the last time I stretched my ears.
