18 Inch Platform Twin Bed Frame with Storage Metal Bedframe No Box Spring Needed for Kids Tall Heavy Duty

I could either move the twin bed that we had upstairs that was made of particle board, or we could get a new bed frame. Initially I didn't want to get a new frame, but I started looking for them on Amazon. This one fit in our price range, and had some feedback that was positive. Even still for the price I wasn't expecting much, but we needed a bet for a room downstairs that had been my office for almost 12 years. This frame was easy to assemble and I couldn't believe how sturdy it is. It sits up off of the floor 18" so under the bed storage is easy. It has 6 legs so it is very sturdy, and had proven to be just what we needed down here. When our guest leaves the house, it will be easy to store so that I can move back into my office and when guest return, I can easily move into the den until they leave. This is the perfect bed frame for our needs and it's not very expensive. Easy set up makes it something that I recommend. Really nice addition to our house, and contributes nicely to the flexibility of a guest room / office.

I really like that it is easy to put together, I mean really easy. It's perfect for storing large plastic bins under, which is why I wanted the tall version. It's sturdy, I am about 200 lbs and no problem. I would recommend thus product.

These are amazing! Easy to assemble, a comfortable height, and very sturdy. We take them camping and use an air mattress on top. Totally worth the price. I would but them again.

I ordered two frames for my nephews and they both arrived yesterday. The first thing I noticed is that the side rails did not look like the pictures. They don't fold in the middle as pictured as well as their is no middle legs. So, the side rails are one solid piece. It was very easy to assemble. I think it took me about 15 minutes to assemble. The tool provided was adequate to assemble the frame. But if you have a power screwdriver with allen wrench bits, the assembly will be even faster. Make sure you tighten the screws very tight. As per instruction, it helps it not squeak or make noise. Plenty of room underneath for storage or whatever you want to put under there. I highly recommend this frame.

I am using it now. It is very sturdy. It is 39" wide but my mattress is 36" I bought two cheap white foam art craft boards and cut them to size to use underneath my mattress. I use a bedskirt and I laid the bedskirt on the frame and the board on top of the bedskirt. It works very well. The board is thin enough that my mattress can slide around on it yet not go outside of the frame. And the bedskirt doesn't get rucked up by the mattress.

To be clear: this is not a high end bed frame by any means. It's cheap and it's basic. But if cheap and basic are what you're looking for, look no further. The assembly is very straightforward. A bit cumbersome for one person, but it can be done and I did. It's held up very well so far. I chose the 18" one because I wanted the storage space underneath, and was not disappointed. I was able to easily fit a LARGE plastic trunk, a giant suitcase, and a ton of smaller boxes. It's a simple, unobtrusive design. I don't really notice it when I'm looking at the room, but it's not ugly. I did notice that the black finish scratched very easily, so be extra careful assembling it if a scratch bothers you. But over all it's a nice basic piece, and a great pick for the price. Perfect for a college student or first apartment.

Ordered for a vacation home where we had a mattress to use, but no box spring. Awesome height to be able to provide suitcase and extra bedding storage underneath, doesn’t squeak when you move, very easy to put together on my own. I did add foam corner protectors to it as it’s the perfect height for someone to walk into and hurt their knees or shins accidentally on. Good height for older folks who need the height to get in and out of. Love it and may purchase more.

Easier to maneuver than expected, the frame folds well. The packaging was simple, and compact. It took less than 10 minutes for me to put together, and performs as intended. I ordered the color black, and it came in more of a grey color with a slight hint of navy. Even though the frame I received doesn't appear as advertised, the color is alright. This product is a little bit overpriced considering the material and quality. I spent just under $90 USD and I expected the frame to be a little more sturdy. It's still a functional product and I currently don't plan on changing this frame out as it will be rarely used. It is a useful product, I just don't think it the high pricetag fits the product's quality.

Just put together 5 mins ago for my 12 year old. Everything was smooth and all pieces and everything was available. The middle legs, one seems to slightly bow out, hopefully doesn't cause issues.

Like how higher up it is from the ground, but the posts/ legs in the middle of the bed goes/ moves outwards on a regular daily basis, I keep on having to kick it back straight. Its annoying. But ok for the price.
