Great item for use as a dog treat on a daily routine. I mainly give one to my dog when he's in his own or crate. He is able to go through one in about 2 minutes or so.It's pretty dense and hard, it doesn't have that soft texture that would bend or break, but it's still soft enough for them to chew it.The "spike" area of the bone can help with scraping food or stains on the teeth, at least I think it can.It's hard to tell if it's working for the teeth solely as I use other things in conjunction with this product. However, my dog does seem to enjoy these chews and I've observed no adverse reactions from him digesting them.For reference, my dog is a Border Collie about 41 pounds. He's also considered a heavy chewer so these things are an easy snack for him.Another thing to note, there isn't any noticable smell with the chew as well. You can tell it has a meat smell if you really sniff it, but just touching it doesn't leave any lingering smell on your fingers.

My dog doesn't usually like bones, but loved this one. She is a medium sized dog, and it was a perfect size to keep her busy. However, it didn't last long. It was gone in one sitting.

My dogs turn down a lot of treats. But they love these. And I am glad to give these good-quality treats to them. I appreciate the change in product packaging. I thought the bag inside of a box was a bit wasteful. I appreciate just receiving the sturdy bag of treats with the zipper close.

My 5 year old Doberman loves them and they do help with gum and teeth health. Been using this product for about $ years.

It was in pieces in a few minutes. Very scary to see out dog chocking on it. Blood on his bed. We have purchased many items but this is not one we would recommend! Too soft breaks apart very quickly

My dog absolutely loved this, it was gone within minutes. It was a good size but I wish it took longer to eat. Seems to digest well we had no issues the next day

Oh the unbelievable carnage after only 60 minutes! Our 30 lb menace was so excited to receive a new bone...you can see the crazed look in his eyes. I work from home and had hopes that this would keep our French Bulldog occupied for quite a long time, but Spike had an entirely different agenda. The back of the packaging states "easy to digest"...lets pray that this is a true statement. I purchased this Nylabone because I can appreciate that it has limited ingredients and it's made in the USA. Unfortunately, I won't buy again due to the fact that our pup turns into the Tasmanian devil once he gets a hold of this tasty thing!
