Vendetta: Luckys Revenge

Once Again the Verdict Is In!
Rereading Jackie Collins' series on the Santangelos has been my guilty pleasure since the summer. Okay, so there has been no guilt whatsoever. It all started when I found out JC had released a new Santangelo book; then I realized that I was three books behind, with Vendetta being the last that I'd read. It had been so long since I read the series that I just decided to start all over, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. At book four, Vendetta, you see a more mature Lucky, one who handles her business by being a corporate tycoon, only going for the menacing threats toward the end as a way to settle feuds permanently. Fans of JC will not be disappointed.

Love the series
I absolutely love this series. My only issue;and its very small but annoying. When she does a quick blurb on back story, she doesn't always get it right. Example, when talking about Dario she said his body was tossed from a car dead when according to the book he was gunned down when exiting a hotel. I can't understand how an author can get their own back story wrong. Pet peeve! Lol

Another great Santangelo story!!
I always enjoy the Santangelo saga! Been a while since I read one but it did not disappoint! Great characters, very, very graphic as usual and lots of twists and turns. Sex and deceit go hand in hand and you find yourself caught up in the story hoping the characters do or don't do certain things! Love it when a story holds my interest like this one did. Very racy so be prepared for that too!

Lucky's Revenge!
VENDETTA: LUCKY'S REVENGE, is the 4th in a series of books about Lucky Santangelo, daughter of an italian "businessman" who had ties with the mafia. In this novel, Lucky experiences a series of bad luck, not realizing til much later that this was not bad luck, but an old nemesis Donna Donnatelli Bonnatti taking revenge on the family and on Lucky for murdering Donna's husband Enzio. Lucky's movie studio is taken over by an unknown business woman, and her husband Lennie Goldman is reported missing and dead. It does appear to be bad luck but it takes some heavy duty sleuthing for Lucky to figure out what is really going on. In between this main plot, there are sub plots with various hollywood-type characters. The action never stops, as is typical in any Jackie Collins book.If you are looking for some fast action, you won't go wrong with LUCKY'S REVENGE.

Pretty decent read
I feel like I read this before. I guess the main character's stories always intertwine. It's worth a read for sure.

Whilst I enjoy the Santangelo series as a whole the later books ...
Whilst I enjoy the Santangelo series as a whole the later books are lazy when it comes to details being confused, rewritten to suit the authors needs. I feel that as a long established author readers should be able to expect more from Jackie Collins

Another good Lucky Santangelo book
This is an excellent book and follows on well to other books in the Santangelo saga. I was not aware of the order in which the books were set and have read them completely out of order, but as the characters have flowed from one book to another, it has been easy to follow the thread.
