Having a brand new laptop is a joy but with less USB connectors and without Ethernet connector is a pain. The only solution was to get an USB hub to get all type of connectivity. This HUB draw my attention as it was the only one ant a fair price with so many connectivity options. I am using this HUB with a Dell XPS laptop and I am very happy with it. I was interested mostly in the Ethernet connection, and I am pleased that the Ehernet connection is 1GB connection and I tested in my home network and it is working like a normal 1GB network connection. It is recognized by Windows as Realtek USB GbE Family Controller. Other good point of this HUB is the HDMI connector that allow me to send 4K signal to my TV. And another good point is the dedicated port for microSD cards. Until now I use to have a SD card adapter to microSD but from now on it is very simple to use the dedicated microSD slot. The build looks very solid, and it is warming a little, but it is normal. Pleased with quality/price.

I bought this because of all the fantastic reviews which claim that it's a quality product and very good. I just received it today and was excited to try it out. My setup is the latest macbook pro 16 inch so everything I tested on was brand new and works fine. I had the charger plugged in just to test that it could charge but it kept going on and off continuously. I checked the cables, but everything else was fine. Nothing was loose at all. I then tried the "HDMI" on a second monitor that is a widescreen LG 29" IPS Screen. The quality that was outputted was absolutely awful. It's like looking at a screen without glasses - completely blurry and low quality. I'm returning this immediately and hope others who have a similar experience can stop companies like this selling poor quality products and conning consumers with fake reviews to entice them to buy.

I used this hub with my laptop, a Huawei Matebook 13 and this is what I am basing my experience on. Yours may differ a little bit. The Good: Plenty of ports - there are so many ports on this device, it is crazy. It is more than enough for a majority of people. The only thing I wish I could change is to replace the VGA port with a DisplayPort or just simply add another port and make it 12 port USB hub, but that’s more personal preference. Solid build quality - nicely designed metal body that feels very rigid. There is no flex to it and it has comfortable weight, not too heavy, and not too light. Kickstand - due to the design of the body, the hub can serve as a kickstand for your laptop. There are rubber stickers included in the package to make your computer less likely to slip down from the adapter. I placed mine on both the top and bottom of the hub to provide grip both to the surface and the bottom of the computer. It provides a nice height increase that makes the typing experience more comfortable. Works with Nintendo Switch - this device can also work as your Nintendo Switch dock replacement if you want something a bit more compact or you just want a dock for your other room at a cheaper than the official dock. If you are playing a lot of multiplayer games on the Switch, the Ethernet port will come in very handy for you. The Not-So-Good Squeaky and stiff - the cable of the device is quite squeaky when moved around. This is probably due to the fact that the cable is also very stiff, which might make maneuvering it around a bit more problematic. The squeakyness is not a functional problem and more just an annoyance when you are trying to move the hub around. Might cause a bit of a disturbance in a public place like a library. The stiffness makes using the hub harder to use as a kickstand, cause it does not bend extremely well. USB-C - it does not charge my device nor does it transfer data through the USB C port. This is more likely to be a problem with my laptop, rather than the device itself, since it does charge my phone through this port when connected to the laptop. Just something to be aware of. All the other ports are working perfectly. Branding - this is a very minor complaint and a very personal one, but I wish the branding at the top would be placed in a less visible place, preferably on the bottom of the device. Right now it is a little bit jarring. Conclusion: It is a great little device, which could be made perfect for me by the addition of a DisplayPort and a more flexible cable, but if that does not sound like something that would bother you, then you should totally get it if you need to expand port selection on your modern laptop.

The hub is very lightweight which means I can carry it around with me when on the move. It has a very good of ports including a ethernet port. At the moment i have the hub connected to my Dell 3520 laptop, connected to the port i have my TV and wireless keyboard. It was extremely easy to setup, just connected the usb hub to my laptop then connect up the other devices to the hub. I'm impressed that it has a HDMI port and VGA so you can support all sorts of TV/monitors. I have also plugged a usb c cable which is connected to a power plug, which means that you can charge your phone/tablet from the usb hub which is very handy.

This is a great idea and nearly great product. I like: Longer than average lead; Number of ports; Very light, easy to transport; Sticky feet/protectors provided. I don't like: USB ports intermittent: they run for 2 seconds, idle for 0.5 seconds repeatedly - if a screen is plugged into the VGA port. USB ports not quite sized correctly, it was really difficult to plug things in. VGA port quite loose and has no retaining nuts. End result is I returned it because of the USB failing. Very tempted to buy another to see if it was a one off, but interestingly wasn't offered a swap, just a refund. Also I bought it on a lightning deal which is over and so now would have to pay full price. All of which is a pity - I really thought I'd found the perfect hub for my USB-C only 2018 MBP. And finally: The box had definitely been opened before I received it, so I wonder if this had already been returned, but Amazon didn't test it enough?

Provati diversi ma ho avuto problemi con tutti. Questo funziona molto bene in tutte le varie condizioni di "aggancio/sgancio" con periferiche (tipo monitor) accese e non (al massimo può capitare di dover staccare un cavo di una periferica e riattaccarlo ma molto raramente). Funziona bene anche l'alimentazione PD e mi ricarica velocemente il portatile Nonostante la forma inusuale e la lunghezza superiore agli 11 in 1 tipici e molto comodo: grazie al cavo più lungo della media si riesce a mettere comodamente dietro (o sotto!) ai piedini del laptop: i collegamenti sono tutti dallo stesso lato posteriore (eccetto lan e connessione a Laptop che sono sui laterali ma va benissimo così). Scalda poco anche con quasi tutto attaccato ed in uso. Segnale video ottimo: si può usare per estendere il monitor del portatile (da notare però che VGA ed HDMI benche collegabilie a due monitor riproducono la stessa immagine, peraltro menzionato nel dettaglio prodotto) Altamente raccomandato *** Solo lo schermo secondario, collegato in HDMI da qualche problema con lo schermo del portatile (che forse dipende proprio dal portatile Lenovo X270 che uso): se si attacca il cavo USB-C a monitor esterno acceso (anche solo in Stand-by) lo schermo del portatile continua a passare da visualizzazione a schermo nero: per risolvere basta attaccare il cavo USB-C a schermo esterno spento ***

Vu les critiques ce genre de HUB j'étais un peu inquiet de cette achat mais au final il fait le job. plus rapide rapide que mon précédent HUB, le précédent me servira pour le lit lol, pour mon mini bureau ce hub est très bien. Déballage il est jolie et bien fait sans défaut apparent. prise USBA elle sont nickel cela rentre sans aucune difficulté. J'ai un peu moins de prise apparente et est glissé le HUB derrière. EN vitesse ce n'est pas fou mais plus rapide que mon précédent HUB (passer de 12/24h heures pour une sauvegarde time machine à 6/7heures pour une sauvegarde initiale sur un disque vierge time machine. test effectué sur le même disque HDD 700tour mis sur un port USB3 sur les deux tests). En bref content de cette achat et surtout de ces 4 port USB (3 DD en USB3, et 1 accessoire mis en USB2)

Ich habe für meinen neuen Laptop (Asus Vivobook 14) explizit einen USB-C-Hub gesucht, bei dem die Anschlüsse nach vorn zeigen, wenn er links eingesteckt ist. Außerdem sollte eine Netzwerkschnittstelle vorhanden sein, da ebenjener Laptop keine eigene hat; eine ausreichend Anzahl von USB A Anschlüssen war ebenfalls notwendig für weitere Preipherie. Kurz: Das Teil soll prinzipiell eine Dockingstation sein. Die Verpackung ist sehr einfach und nicht besonders hochwertig (gerade der Plastikeinschub ist ziemlich wabbelig, die Pappverpackung dünn), aber das ist prinzipiell egal - denn der Hub funktioniert wunderbar. Wurde unter Windows 10 erkannt und nach einer kurzen Weile haben alle Steckplätze funktioniert (zumindest die, die ich getestet habe: LAN / Netzwerk, USB 3.0, USB-C, HDMI, micro-SD). Qualitativ ist der Hub prima und fühlt sich wertig an, ein etwas steifes USB C Kabel (~30cm Länge) ermöglicht den Anschluss); praktisch fand ich, dass aufklebbare Gummifüße mitgeliefert wurden. Ansonsten sieht das Teil halt exakt so aus, wie auf den Fotos zu sehen ist. Kurzum: Für etwa 45€ (Originalpreis 49,99€, es konnte ein 10% Gutschein aktiviert werden) erfüllt das Teil alle Kriterien, die ich hatte. Leider mein neuer Laptop nicht, denn was ich bisher nicht schrieb und weswegen ich die Überschrift gewählt habe: Der HDMI Anschluss hat zunächst überhaupt kein Signal ausgegeben. Wie ich nach einiger Testerei mit anderen Adaptern nun weiß, liegt das schlicht daran, dass der genannte Laptop kein HDMI Signal über die USB-C Schnittstelle ausgeben kann. Ein Test des Hubs an einem Lenovo ideapad MIIX, das ich beruflich nutze und bei dem ich wusste, dass USB C auf HDMI Adapter verwendet werden, war dann auch erfolgreich. So weit ich gegoogelt habt, lässt sich von außen und ohne explizite Doku (für das Asus nicht vorhanden), nicht erfahren, ob ein USB C Anschluss per se HDMI unterstützt, oder nicht - sondern nur durch Tests. Sehr nervig. Tendenziell sollten alle Laptops, die PD (Power Delivery) unterstützen auf jeden Fall auch HDMI können, das ist aber auch nur ergoogelt. Ich behalte den Hub und habe mir gerade (für deutlich mehr Geld als das Asus) ein MS Surface Pro 7 bestellt, daran sollte es wohl klappen. Ansonsten ergänze ich hier die Rezension.

Ero alla ricerca di un hub USB per poter estendere il numero di porte sul mio computer sfruttando la porta USB C presente sul davanti. Questo adattatore 11 in 1 ha superato le mie aspettative. - USB: le porte presenti permettono di collegare simultaneamente sia chiavette che hard disk portatili garantendo un discreto transfer rate superiore sicuramente allo standard usb 2.0 - HDMI: collegato questa porta,tramite un cavo HDMI, ad un monitor 32“, l’immagine si presenta molto ben definita e senza sfarfallii. - LETTORE SCHEDE: il doppio lettore di schede SD e micro SDHC permette la lettura anche delle più recenti classe 10 e UHS 1 e 2. Il transfer rate è discreto ma non eccelso. - ETHERNET: utile se non si dispone di una scheda di rete integrata, permette connessioni stabili a 10 e 100 Mbs. Non ho verificato se supporta la gigabit. - CONCLUSIONI: la sua compattezza e le finiture in alluminio lo rendono molto sobrio ed elegante e adatto sia desktop sia portatili Apple in alluminio. Il rapporto prezzo qualità e discreto. Verificherò nel lungo periodo la sua durabilità.
