Game changing tattoo care
BUY THIS PRODUCT!! I ordered 2 boxes of this aftercare set for my fairly large shoulder tattoo. I take blood thinners so I was scared the healing process would take a substantial amount of time, but after reading reviews and the product info I was hoping it would work. Con: the Blue Green Foam Soap instantly defizzed when dispensed and after one use, I switched to 7th Generation Fragrance Free Hand Soap. It might work great for easy to reach tattoos, but for someone like me with mobility issues, I couldn't get it to stick to my saran wrap covered long handled sponge to effectively wash my tattoo. Meh: the Ocean Foam skin moisturizering foam is great if you can get it to come out correctly and can get the sprayer to work. Again might work well for others, but with mobility issues, it took a heck of a lot of force to first break the seal on the sprayer then hold down the sprayer to get the foam out. Also make absolutely sure you hold the bottle straight up or you will get these small ice cold chunks of product that come out. I will say the cold foam felt wonderful on my tattoo. Pro: the Ocean Care skin moisturizering cream is the ultimate star of this show. I washed my tattoo for the amount of times my artist recommended each day then applied this cream after. I was expecting my healing time to be 1.5-2 times longer than normal due to my health issues. NOPE. This cream not only sped up the healing process to faster then normal but the itching, tightness, and discomfort were at an absolute minimum. The cream is lightweight, not sticky, and completely soothes the skin during the flaking stage. I went to the company website and bought 3 additional tubes so I can keep using it and will likely continue to buy it. I just wish it came in bigger sizes! Overall, this companies tattoo product line is the GOAT and you absolutely NEED to get this for your aftercare. 9999/10 would recommend!!

Best Tattoo Aftercare!
first off i ordered this product on wednesday and got it on thursday to take with me to houston to get a few tattoos.... this product is awesome... i have many many tattoos and non of them felt this great just 24 hours later....no mess the anti bacterial soap isnt harsh and actually moisturizes as well... then the lotion is great because it is NOT petroleum based so there is no sticky or stinky oil residue...havent used the tatt lock in yet just because it's only been 24 hours but i assume it will be fine...will always use this product going forward instead of dial a&d ointment and unscented lotion ok... i am a bit obsessed with tattoos and i have been getting them for over 10 years now...i've used mainly tatt wax and a and d ointment both of which were really really itchy to my skin...i heal fine because ive got good skin but it makes the healing process annoying slapping instead of scratching or icing...if your into your tatts you know what im talking about...about the h20... this is NOT I reapeat NOT petroleum based which means vibrant healing with little to no fading at all... i wish i knew about this stuff for some of my color work that ive had done but thats ok because once i get them re worked i will be using this stuff for life...and btw you can use this on your older tattoos as well and you can also use the lotion it comes with on a daily basis for your daily moisturizer... no petroleum means no sticky tacky goo no grease stains on your clothes and your tattoo heals a lot quicker because it can breathe...not to worry it does include all of the anti bacterial stuff you need for a no infection hassle...quick fyi don't buy these individually...if you go a head and buy all three the foam soap and the foam aftercare and lotion its like 25 bucks and the box with all three in it comes via amazon and free reg shipping...and you don't need a lot if you are only using it for healing purposes....a lot of people say that the foam burns but getting the tattoo in the first place is a lot worse! it tingles it doesn't burn...and trust me i have really sensitive skin i itch just from the tatt wax that's supposed to be all natural!!!

Good Stuff, Worth the Price, The Hype is Real, Converted Skeptic.
At first I just thought that H20cean was nothing more than ointment that the tattoo shops more or less pushed on you to make a few extra bucks and it really wasn't worth the money to buy it. I used to use a $4 or $5 pack of Aquaphor on my other tattoos and it always worked out fine just using that with some regular soap a few times a day. I decided to splurge and purchase this kit for this tattoo because it was my first piece that was always going to be visible as well as my most detailed piece so far, so why not spend a little extra money and see what the hype was about. I am by no means an expert in tattoos or the healing process and of course everyone and every tattoo can react differently but for me on this tattoo it worked out great. First off the initial healing time was noticeably reduced by a good day or so, the overall healing process days 1-8 was a really smooth trip with no issues. I followed the provided instructions to a "T" and I can say that I believe the stuff really is worth the money and I can say that the hype is legit. It healed evenly and the outcome so far is better than I could ask for. I never had any issues with the tattoo drying out, allergic reactions, or infections. Also, the blue green foam soap in this kit is a godsend, it not only cleaned the tattoo but also moisturized it at the same time, great stuff. I will definitely be using H20cean in the future and will be highly recommending it to any and everyone that is getting or has got a new tattoo. If you're reading this and are on the fence about purchasing it, just get it, it is definitely worth the try. And no I was not paid to do this review and I actually did purchase and use this kit and only this kit for the entire healing process.

I ordered both kits so you don't have to
I ordered both the H2Ocean Extreme Tattoo Care Kit & Ultimate Tattoo Care Kit so you don't have to. Kit differences: Both contain the same foaming soap and black tube moisturizer. The difference is the Extreme kit contains the white tube, and the Ultimate kit contains a foaming moisturizer. Ultimate Kit: Instructs to use the black tube moisturizer on the fresh tattoo for 2 days, then switch to the foaming moisturizer. Extreme Kit: Instructs to use the white tube on the fresh tattoo for 2 days, then switch to the black tube moisturizer. The black tube moisturizer is a basic white unscented lotion. The white tube is like Aquaphor. I have always used Aquaphor in the early stages of my tattoos healing so it's strange to see the the Ultimate kit not even include a product similar to this but skip right to the unscented lotion. The foaming soap is fun to use but gold Dial soap is way cheaper and more cleansing. Black tube moisturizer isn't very moisturizing. It absorbs into my skin way too quickly and then I'm dry again. A comparable product would be unscented Lubriderm lotion, which is much more moisturizing. The foaming moisturizer comes out like shaving cream and immediately dissipates upon rubbing it in, doesn't feel very moisturizing but it's a fun thing to use. For superior moisturizing I would recommend an unscented beef tallow balm. Does it do the job? Yes. Is it the best? No. Is it a good value? Also no. Just know you're paying for the brand name and the fun of a ready made kit. You can get all the supplies you need for much cheaper, and in larger quantities.

Love this kit
I've tried many products on my tattoos and this is by far the best so far. Years ago I did the A&D ointment when that was the thing, Vaseline, tattoo goo and the best until now was aquaphor, but this kit is just great. Love the size of the bottles because I can throw the foam in my makeup bag and have it with me all the time. It's kept my older tattoos looking fresh and I've never had such quick healing with any other "soap." Will definitely keep on hand for all future tattoos (ordered in advance and with prime shipping it arrived the day before my appointment, so I used it from day one). The only other product you need is a sunscreen, but don't waste your money on the ones marketed for tattoos, it's the same stuff as coppertone and the like. The sun does more damage to your tats than anything else. On another note, I am an Esthetician (skin care specialist) and esthetics instructor and the ingredients they use are great. Noncomedogenic (won't cause comedos, aka blackheads) non irritating, protective, gentle, and hydrating. I am very particular about the things I put on my skin and I had no problems using these products. Keep your tats clean, follow your tattoo artists instructions to the letter, and DON'T PICK!!!!

Awesome Tattoo Aftercare Kit!!!!
Absolutely love this stuff. Started using it a few months back when I began work on my leg sleeve and it works awesome. The soap is really gentle on the fresh tattoo and after the first wash it feels great, unlike when you use regular hand soap. The lotion does not leave a disgusting sticky mess like A&D does and it is all natural so it allows the skin to breathe while it is healing. The ocean foam is great because it helps moisturize even more when you begin using it on the second day. Everything together helps speed up the healing process significantly and keeps most of the ink in and your tattoo looking sweet. Your tattoo also seems to peel a lot less when using this which is awesome. Now if only it could stop the itching XD All in all this is an amazing kit and it definitely worth 20-30 that you pay for it. It lasts quite a while as well so you are only buying one maybe every month to two months.

a couple weeks later..
The pictures of my tattoo are on the product page. I did a TON of research on aftercare and it seems that there's just as much contradiction between the professionals as there is with the amateurs. I had a special a&d ointment applied and saran wrapped for 3 hours until I got home. I immediately used the foam soap to wash off the ointment and then dried it by dabbing a soft towel on it to soak up the water AND MOISTURE which avoids the scabbing. Then I used the Salve "instructions are in the box and are very easy to follow" for the first 2 days and then started the ocean foam. I stopped oozing after a day and a half. I've heard tons of stories about how other peoples tattoos healed and I believe this product accelerated the time and took GREAT care of my tattoo. I know it's 30 dollars but the freaking tattoo lasts the rest of your life so don't be a cheap ass and screw up your tattoo so it ends up looking cheap and crappy. *** I used this product for the initial healing phase of my tattoo. Such as the first week. After that, save money and use alcohol and fragrance free soap and hand lotion. I use that in conjunction with the tattoo aftercare kit and I still have some left over to begin finishing my half sleeve with. I ordered a second kit because I believe I'll run out in the healing process of getting my second outline filled in.
