Westin 27-1215 Running Board Mount Kit fits 1999-2016 F250 F350 Crew Cab 1999-2005 Excursion

A complete mounting kit with 5 brackets per side and all the nuts, bolts and washers you need. Made for a very sturdy installation.

Assembled very well,easy to install.Needed a high powered microscope to read the poorly written instructions.( It is a great thing I have an extensive back ground working with = degree in industrial education.)

They worked as expected for my 2000 Excursion and seem to be of great quality. We will see how they stand up to the winter and the test of time.

These are "universal" as they fit the Expedition and Super Duty trucks. The problem is they didn't sit flush to the rockers on my F350 because the top portion of the brackets were hitting a seam, causing them to sit slightly angled upward. I have severe OCD and I couldn't live with this, so I took some measurements and cut off enough of the bracket to clear the seam. Then I had to file, prime and paint... Time I had not planned to spend on this project. Personally, I think these brackets should be included in the running board kits or reduce the price by 50-60% to help offset the frustration of poor fitment.

Heavy duty brackets. Kinda pricey.

Ordered this mounting kit to go with the 27-74745 Grate Steps running boards. First off the instructions don’t even apply to the Grate steps, they only reference the aluminum extruded type boards. Secondly there should be some 5/16” fine thread nuts for the studs that mount the running boards to the mounting brackets-there are NONE. I called Westin and spoke to their tech guy who had no clue. Extremely dissatisfied.

Fit my 2016 F250 Super Crew with no drilling, just bolt on and go!

This is the kit that I had to buy separate from the Westin led running boards 27-0025. So to start with the instructions were not very clear. The brackets look nothing like what was advertised. On the bracket you have one bolt on top and one bolt on bottom. Not very sturdy looking. They forgot to put the lock washers in the box. I went to the store and bought those. Then I see on the running boards that one of the clips are broke. I didn’t have very good luck on this purchase, and we buy a lot.
