Are you making the most of our weeks? A beautiful way to live in the present - and set your future
I remember seeing the "weeks in life" concept a few years ago on some design blogs. The idea is that by seeing your life in smaller pieces of time, you are motivated to take action and achieve your goals. The idea was interesting to me (who doesn't love a little procrastination?) but unfortunately, you had to design your own poster, print it, fill it out, etc etc. It seemed like a lot of work to do something I could do on a regular calendar. But I when I came across this poster, a lot of the work was done for me. I had no more excuses I could sell myself, so I gave it a try.And the result - wow. Creating this poster gives you wonderful piece of personal and motivational art. But that is just the destination. The journey of crafting my personal journey was the best part of this.I posted some pictures of my result, as the seller should display the many ways you can create this, but I guess in the meantime I'll show you mine! I did not spend too long creating the actual art, but mostly because I took a number of hours exploring my past and mapping it out, so I was impatient to see the final result. I would suggest taking your time on both parts and really enjoying it.How I did it:1. Figured out my 'life milestones'. I pulled up my old calendars (thanks Google), called my mom, looked at yearbooks, scrolled through my photo albums. I took nostalgia field trips for hours, sorting out just how far I had come.In the end I picked a mixture of places I've lived + key moment in life: Going to school, meeting a special someone, and moving to chase my dreams. Each of these phases became a different color for the poster.I took these phases and put them on a spreadsheet (I know, a little formal, but I wanted to see the colors ahead of time and make sure everything looked nice).I then took high gloss markers and colored in each square. I kept gold separate for the big weeks of my weeks, so I could mark some special anniversaries. Make sure you color left to right, otherwise you will smudge it up and have to do a little magic with white-out. ,I spent an hour or two filling in the boxes, and when I was done it was impressive! You can really see how frequently you have successfully made changes in my life. It makes you realize how much you have done and have strong you were in those moments. After that,2. Set your goals for the future. I built a list of big goals that I wanted to accomplish over the rest of my life into a big list, whittled it down into something realistic, and figured out when it "should" be done. The interesting part about setting your goals in weeks is it feels very, very specific. Very real. Something about putting your date as "the fourth week of next year" makes it a lot more tangible!I wanted to be accountable with myself...but I know that sometimes things change, so instead of putting marker in the weeks, I got colored pins, put the poster on a little poster board, and stuck the pins in. Voila. Future mapped out!I'll be honest, I don't fill out each square every day, but after a month of having it I have enjoyed the moments when I get to stop by, fill in each week, and think on how I am moving closer to my goals! The best thing about this is it. is. beautiful. What good is a setting our goals if you can't seem there every day? After I put it on poster board, I put a few pins in it and hung it in my work space. You'll love making this and love the result!

Re-prioritized everything for me!
This was a serious reality check for me. There's something moving about seeing a visual of my life like this.I've been very focused on my career over the past couple of decades, and I initially got this life calendar to map out some goals, retirement, etc. But the most striking thing for me turned out to be marking down when my son will turn 18. His childhood is an incredibly short period of time in the 90 or so years of my life. And the time he actually wants to hang out with me is probably even less than that.Good quality, good design, fast delivery. Highly recommend, kids or not - just fill this out and see how it makes you feel. You'll probably want to re-prioritize, like I did. It will give you a new perspective on what truly deserves your time and attention.

Time flies!
With each passing year, one realizes how fast life can go by. I’ve always wondered what my life and milestones might look like from a visual perspective.Seeing this on the wall, and marking the important events in my life was a real eye-opener. I have this prominently displayed in my home office. It inspires me to not work as many hours, get out to the gym, spend time with family and just relax.I’m a middle-aged man who purchased one of these for myself and one for my 19-year-old daughter. It’s a wonderful resource to plan one’s life and to remind you how short life can be — and make each day count. It’s on great quality paper and the boxes are prominent enough to see, yet light enough to mark or place stickers on.

It’s taking a LONG time to fill in all those squares!
Good product. It’s printed on nice, heavy paper and was surprisingly easy to unroll and keep it flat.

Great product and even better customer support
UPDATED: The seller reached out to me after seeing the crinkles and not only fixed it immediately but also wrote a nice, handwritten letter as well. Issues happen but the follow up and customer service means just as much as the product. Very well done and rest assured that if there are any issues, Gibaria will make sure it get taken care of.ORIGINAL: Both posters are “wrinkled” / “crunched” in areas that make this both very difficult to mark on (its purpose) and it is not aesthetically pleasing.

Get this calendar if you want to better manage your life.
I found this calendar on Amazon and it made me think. I have three grown children and two grandchildren, and more on the way. Life seems to be going faster as I get older. This calendar made me realize the importance of focusing on what matters in life as it breaks the years of a life span into weeks. Now I realize that while there seems to be plenty of time, I may not spend adequate time on what matters. Highly recommend for those who do not want to regret not spending time with the children, grandchildren, their better half, and even their career goals.

Starts at age 1 not when you are born.
The numbers and boxes are off bc they start counting at the age of 1 not when you are born. So everything is a year off. Otherwise it is a nice quality paper with falling short of actually starting this with someone’s birthday.

Motivation
This product reminds me how time is passing so quickly. Every week seems same, but you can see the difference when you see the progress. Always make some difference in the past make the better future
