Easy to replace, and works well.
These is very easy to install, and works great. Both outlets work as expected, and the usb ports are very convenient to quickly charge a number of devices, and removes the need to have a bulky charger taking up on of the outlets. One thing to note - This is MUCH thicker than the outlet I replaced. I'm assuming it's due to requiring extra components for the USB ports. Luckily this outlet is located in a corner that is somewhat out of view, otherwise it would look a bit out of place with the no screw face plates that I am using, as it sticks out a good 0.25 inches, where the previous outlet was flush.

Orientation is important
So much for not reading directions. Once I figured out line was on the bottom, things went well. Now my garage GFCI has two unused plugs now that the two USB cameras are using the USB A ports. Not sure if I like that the conductors coming off the receptacle are stranded rather than solid. It was cheaper to buy the expensive receptacle than to replace the 1 gang box with a 2 gang box.

good quality
The quality is good, but it us a very tight fit for a standard outlet box.

Couldn’t find such an outlet at a home building store!
I wanted a GFCI outlet w/USB A & USB C charging connections. I didn’t find any such outlets locally. Amazon sourced these, and it works well. Priced a bit high, I think.

One of two came in previously opened...
Easy to install (But I was a lead electrician for 6 years). Solid construction. Ordered two. One came in taped shut from previously being opened. One of the screws (in the opened one) had been tightened down but, aside from that, it looked brand new.For those that have never done this, please make sure the power is off. Plug in a hair dryer (in the outlet you'll be changing) and turn it on and then go to your breaker panel and turn them off (one by one) until the hair dryer stops. Then, have a small tipped screw driver to stick into the ground hole to orient the outlet after you get it -mostly- screwed into the box... That will make it look much better and make it much easier to straighten out and tilt correctly and make level. Finish tightening down the screws at that point and put a plate on it. The outlet should stick out of the plate evenly all the way around and the plate should look level to the eye. These are an easy upgrade to your house or apartment that can be safely done if you just take proper precautions. Please do!

Review-busters - Read for accuracy in reviewing....
As usual, inexperience and incompetence strikes again for many of the poor reviews. That's why I write the reviews that I write. I shall begin busting poor reviews and provide truth in reviewing....Where do I start? I'll first start by saying I have years of electrical trade experience. That helps, but isn't a requirement.(1) "Sockets too tight" or "I have a hard time plugging in regular plugs to the sockets". The receptacles (sorry, not "sockets") are "TR"...that means TAMPER RESISTANT. That means it takes some maneuvering of the blades for them to be inserted into the receptacle, hence, preventing a child from "tampering" with it and easily inserting say a paperclip. Tamper Resistant receptacles require that you slightly slide the blades to the right as you are inserting them and push aside the tamper guard. Technique is everything.(2) "It didn't come with a face plate". Firstly, there is no face plate pictured and secondly the description states "wall plate sold separately". The reason is people (such as I) may be using a different color wall plate or ones that are brass, brushed, chrome, decorative, etc. and including a wall plate that won't be used is a waste.(3) "It's too wide" or "it doesn't fit box". Ok, they added USB charging ports. More room is needed for these components...BUT the receptacle will legally fit in a box, meaning if INSTALLED CORRECTLY, it will not touch the walls of a single gang box or won't touch another switch or receptacle if placed in a multi-gang box. Now, if your box is crowded with other circuits or if someone left too much wire slack and jammed everything in, you may have an issue fitting this. Did I mention "if installed correctly?"(4) Too hard to install. This is subjective, BUT....If you ordered a 20 amp version of this, it is presumably because you knew it is being used on a 20 amp circuit. That means the wires are a heavier gauge and stiffer than those used on a 15 amp circuit, so yes, it may be a bit more difficult to install. Knowing how to gently fold the wires and leave only a sufficient amount of slack is key.(5) "wires don't stay under the terminals"...This means you are doing something wrong. Only one wire may be installed on either side of the screw. If you have two of each color wires, you will need to individually insert them under the clamp, one on either side of the screw. I properly striped each conductor and they fit securely under each terminal without pulling out. Do not confuse these with "back-wire" receptacles. These are "side-wire" and use a clamp - it is not the same as the lazy method of back-wiring, which is frowned-upon by better electricians.(6) "the outlet sits 1/4 inch lower in the box than the adjacent one". This one was a real winner...The face of the receptacle is industry standard. The "yoke" is industry standard. The screw-spacing is industry-standard. However, the photo provided by a certain incompetent review shows a slight warp in the box, which is common to nail-on boxes installed in a rush. It also shows the receptacles (purposely?) misaligned to exaggerate the claim. The receptacle mounting holes have wider slots to allow for adjustment/alignment of the receptacles to compensate for slightly crooked box installations. I guarantee I could've adjusted the receptacles in the example to fit perfectly with a little effort. That example was someone having an ax to grind. Some people shouldn't be performing certain tasks.(7) "Can't plug everything in at once"...Well you can if you have basic types of plugs like lamps, laptops, a coffee maker, etc. If you have bulky transformers or other oversized plugs, well then of course you can't fit everything! You need this explained to you?(8) You do NOT need a separate pair of wires to make the USB ports work! No idea why someone would provide misinformation if they weren't sure. The USB ports take power from the primary hot and neutral feeds. This was erroneously reported by another reviewer that is supposed to be of higher caliber. Other notes and recommendations....Make sure you know the amperage of the circuit you are installing this on. It's the number listed on the breaker that controls the circuit. Without getting into the code too deep, a good rule of thumb is 15 amp circuits require you to order a 15 amp receptacle, 20 amp circuits should have a 20 amp receptacle. Yes, there are exceptions to this but for most situations, I suggest following that guideline. Know if you need to order a wall plate. If you are replacing a classic style duplex receptacle and your wall plate has two separate holes for the receptacles, you will need a new wall plate. If you are replacing a receptacle that has a single rectangular opening, the old plate will work. These use standard "Decora" type receptacle covers available everywhere. Also note it is normal for this receptacle to stick-out past the wall plate about an 1/8". NOTE: I purchased this item on Amazon for full price and have no affiliation to the seller. I try to write helpful, unbiased and insightful reviews because I also read reviews prior to making my own buying decisions. I notice many reviews lack helpful information, are not well written or give poor reviews based on not reading directions, failing to read the product details prior to purchasing or someone's inexperience or lack of skill. Writing valuable reviews helps pay it forward.

Works great
Wanted some usb chargers in the kitchen, it works great!Due to the size, it was a bit difficult to install , but after some finicking I was able to fit everything into the electrical box.

Good product.
Quality is good, cheaper then Home Depot. Only reason for 4 stars is the plug is very deep. Must use a deep electrical box. Knew we wanted this so planned ahead, but would be hard to fit in a regular sized box. Pigtails, wire nuts and wires all become a lot of bulk to try to fit into a box.

Works as expected able to charge my devices and still have outlets free.
Great product that does what’s expected of it, easy to hookup my charging cables to it for my phone without the next for plug allowing a more flush look for furniture in front of outlet. The receptacle was easy to install especially if you done outlets or light switches before but it is a little thick which causes a little issue making sure everything fits in there nicely but overall works great thus far.

Product is great. Only drawback is price.
This device does what it says it will do. It looks good and works perfectly. It’s big though and barely fits into the box, though I have no reason to believe it isn’t up to spec. Leviton is a reliable company in that regard. It’s expensive though - my only complaint. I have a few of these in the house and will not hesitate to install them when needed.
