IKEA ALRIK Swivel chair and adjustable, blue

I bought this chair for the color, which I am very satisfied with. It is bright and closely resembles the photograph. Assembly was pretty easy, and the chair and all of its parts appear to be in good condition. What I do not like is the stiffness of the back and seat.There is no real flexibility for leaning back in the chair, so you have to maintain your posture the entire time. For an IKEA product it does not seem to be up to the same standards as I would have expected. However, it is a decent desk chair and hopefully will last to serve its purpose.

Being a student means being on a budget and this chair is worth it's price. Sturdy, easy to assemble, functional, but definitely not comfortable. I wish I had ponied up for a nicer chair because now I never want to study.

Why would you make a chair that doesn't roll unless someone is sitting in it? Weird and very inconvenient.

Light, airy, flexible, comfortable, good support. Wheels don't roll as much as I'd like. It kind of slides rather than rolls. Still a great chair, though! I love plastic!

its amazing! I wish it came in more colors tho. I am heavier and it still supports my weight and works perfectly after almost a year

Great price. Very easy to assemble. Perfect for my home office. Doesn't take up a lot of room but is very comfortable.

It was slightly broken .

Purchased two of these for boys desks. Loved the color and fun style. After about 2 years of wear both chairs have the same horizontal crack in the back rest. Several t-shirts torn due to the crack. I need to replace these but being a busy mom not a priority until now - have damaged 3 t-shirts and 1 pair of pants due to how son stands up after sitting and how the crack grabs the clothing.
