REES52 Metal Aluminium Alloy Raspberry Pi 4 Armor Case with Dual Fan Cooling Heatsink for Pi 4 Model/B

I use Raspberry pi 4 B model for my IOT and Penetration Testing. Prior I used another case which was not metal and had temperature issues due to Throttling Effects on CPU when temperature Exceeds 75 Degrees Celsius.After getting this Case, I want to share the amazing results for which I am overall satisfied.The temperatures now remains between 42 to 43 Degrees Celcius under normal stress test of 8 hours.In Overclock mode the Temperature is steady between 45 to 50 Degrees Celsius.Those complaining about Fan Noises, something I want to share1. Get rid of any other heat sink2. Place the thermal layer correctly on all components3. Tighten all screws on both fansIt would silent and you raspberry pi4 would yield best results, thanks to this wonderful truly Armour case.

This case is a worth buy. I have already used fan cases and they become irritating after a few months due to noise. If fan fails- what they do- you need to have a spare fan unless you want to keep your Pi off! That adds to costs too. Without fan, gpio pins are free to use.But this fully passive case does the job for daily use. While writing this in summer, room temperature is 33C and Pi averages at 48C and maxes at 55C with Chromium & VS Code running. Which is acceptable.Tips:1. Bare case does NOT touch the CPU, but RAM and network chip do. Its definite imperfection. So one star less. Workaround: use only one silicon pad supplied for CPU and leave other chips as is. Using all pads causes misalignment too. Plus, only CPU cooling matters, not other chips.2. Cut a strip from packing foam in the same box and insert on gpio, simple solution makes them touch proof.SD card sticks out of the case, which is not good. And with such metal case, if you accidentally drop your Pi- its going to crack for sure! Cool case but not safe enough, and expensive.

This is good stuff, costly yes very costly, but does the work it promises.

Quite good one, better than passive cooling. The fan noise is almost nill, the temperature of RPi4 after fixing this one is dropped to 44 deg. Quite satisfied with the product. But price is bit expensive earlier it was 1k.

Nice case that acts as a large heatsink. Gets slightly warm after extended use.Keeps the average temperature of Pi 4 under 45°C and peak temperature under 60°C. These operating temperatures are good enough as throttling starts only at 80°C.Much better than using a cooling fan as the fan sound can be very distracting.

Keeps rpi4's temperature below 55 degrees even at full cpu load. No need to buy one with the fan.

The case is amazing my rasberry pi wud get heated up very quickly , and the android rom kept resarting on me because of this but since i have gotten this case the pi has been working smoothly...the only problem i faced was there is no way to mount it to the back of the touch screen once we put in this casethere needs to be further provisions to to mount the case to the 7 inch official touch screen if one wants to do so .....i found a work around thoughit's not ideal but it works for me for now ...last thing the I loved the case as it was as a whole , i rarely ever give feedback but i loved this case so much that i felt i needed to share this info ....

Got only the metal heatsink. No fans were provided nor does the body has slots for fans.Probably shipped a wrong model
