had no idea the price is for two!!!
I thought the price was bomb for one kit! but silly me didnt realize you actaully get 2! a total of 18 guns, the guns come in a variety of designs, most are some kind of skull, not too girly, but if your a chick tattoo artist chances are neither are you. they are weighted really well. the metal guarding the coils (the part with the designs) doesnt seem to made with the best metal, but thats more of a cosmetic issue, all the parts that really matter at super sturdy. im doing an experiment to see exactly how much use you can get out of each gun. im only using the guns in the first kit for color and shading and im gonna use one gun until it stops working(if it ever does break, idk that it will) so far ive done 8 or 9 with one gun all large no issues whatsoever! this kit is the true definition of a "complete" kit. this is everything a begginer will need to start dabbling. besides transfer paper, and flash art(might be some on the dvd not sure havent watched it) and more ink, you wont need anything extra for a while. the ink that comes with this kit is far better than i expected it to be. i even order some other ink because i expected the ink to be crap. NOT the case at all. this ink is so vibrant and stays in the skin super well! you wont regret buying this product!

Unbiased review of Dragonhawk Kit / Machines
Great starter kit and EXCELLENT Customer Service. I had a couple of ink bottles leak in transit and they fixed everything. They were very receptive and courteous. I've never had better service from another seller. The machines need to be set up as either a liner or a shader, whichever you prefer but some of them are on the heavy side (255 grams, great for using large magnums) and a couple much lighter (171 grams). I immediately ordered larger one ounce bottles of pigment, but you can do some good tattoos with what comes with the kit. The power supply is just fine for the kit but I would invest in a backup no matter what kit you bought. Clip cable and foot switch both work well and have had no problems. I've inspected most of the needles and tubes and only had one that was unusable so far due to burrs. I was skeptical before ordering this kit but I wanted to see just how good the machines could really be, but once you dial them in and adjust springs, etc. these machines can do some great work. The DVD is helpful for beginners but in my opinion the handbook/manual is much more helpful for the beginner. I'm very happy with this purchase and will definitely be ordering more items from this company.

Great but may require some additional purcahses
Bought this kit for my fiance for his birthday. He has no experience with tattoo machines, and this kit seemed to include everything he needed to get started. Everything was in excellent, new condition. I read other reviews that noted the ink was dried out or in poor condition. The ink in our kit was good. We immediately put in the included DVD/CD upon opening the kit. We were expecting a movie or instructional type of CD, but it just has a lot of pictures. My only other complaint is that the description states it comes with Practice SKINS, as in multiple, and only one was included. The quality of the practice skin is poor and if you try to use a shader on it, it doesn't work well. It also only comes with one sheet of tracing paper, so I would suggest anyone looking to buy this kit also consider purchasing a few extras like additional tracing paper, better quality practice skins, a larger bottle of black ink, and tincture of green soap. Otherwise, this is a pretty cool kit and I feel I got my money's worth.

Ink sucks, But everything else is A-1
I bought of these, well 2 of a similar package, 1 was stolen so I ended up buyin a 2nd to replace it, the 1st 1 didn't have anything about not using the ink on people, on the packages of ink, description, or on the bottles...with my professional knowledge about tattooing (NONE!) I have s few tattoos with that ink...now the 2nd set had it on the packages of ink, and this 1 did say expired, but let people know in the description...with that said, I really like the machines, hence me replacing the stolen ones...can't wait to use these, there all tuned, I'll change a couple to shaders, someone mentoring you while you learn is ideal but if not, YouTube stuff, and don't tattoo yourself with that ink...I'll buy more products from you in the future, good lookin out 4 the resume add-on 🤙🤙

Recommend for beginners
This is a decent kit for the money, but there a few cautions for new artists who may not fully realize what they are getting. This kit will get you started, but know ahead of time that the materials will run out quickly. The ink is decent, but expect to have enough of each color to finish one large tattoo. Moms ink or bloodlines is worth an order ahead of time. One pair of gloves means one tattoo. The guns are definitely good given the price, but they won't last forever. If you do three tattoos and notice your power bogging don't immediately jump to a new power supply. Try wiggling your contact screw and see if that's the problem. The wires broke off of my favorite coil about 12 small tattoos in. Keep in mind that the hildbrandt guns are 50 or more each, so there's a reason you get so much for so little here. I would strongly recommend this kit for someone who wants to try tattooing and decide if it is what they want to do. As soon as you know your interest sticks get your order in for better equipment.

Good kit for beginners
This kit included 9 machines. 2 are visually identical. All are the same action and performance. Everything needed here to get started except there are only tips. No stems to attach the grip to the machine, so those would have to be bought separately in order to use any of this equipment to tattoo. I do appreciate that the stainless tips in the kit are sterile already.Everything seems to be in working order. Good kit for beginners with the exception of the missing stems.

Well packaged and complete product. The machines work well enough and you do have enough materials to begin practice on synthetic skins. Upgrading to a better quality ink is a must if you intend to tattoo real skin or produce quality images on practice skin.

Majority of the product is here and in good working order. However it did not come with a CD as stated (doesn't really bother me, but should be included if it says so) Also doesn't include 100 ink cups, I got 30. Also doesnt have a tattoo light.
