Great audio interface
I've been using the M-Audio AIR 192|6 for a while now, and it's been great for my home recording setup. The sound quality is clean and detailed, and the build feels solid. I love having both XLR/TRS and line inputs, plus MIDI I/O for my gear. Setup was easy, and latency is super low. My only gripe is the headphone output could be louder, but overall, it’s a great value and perfect for small studio work. Also powered by usb so can be very portable as dont beed heavy power leads with it

Great value for money, all the features included. Works perfectly after a bit of troubleshooting.
I did quite a bit of research before opting for the M-Audio. I personally prefer the layout of the knobs on the top, as I don't need to reach down to figure out what is what. It lives on one side of my desk and I use it not only for recording, but as the main sound card for my PC. The 192-6 has two inputs which allow me to record vocals in stereo (coming off an effects pedal). Most importantly, it has a blend between direct monitoring and USB sound, to deal with any latency. It also has MIDI ports in case I need to hook up a MIDI keyboard/pad in the future. The quality and build are excellent. The only issue I faced was not getting any sound from my PC (e.g. playing mp3, YouTube, etc.), although I got the sound from the DAW. I found out that to fix this, I needed to select a sample rate of 48000 in the M-Audio applet. It might also be worthwhile to try different USB ports, and finally make sure you're not using any USB hubs, which can interfere with the memory allocation. Now, everything works perfectly. The 192-6 is hooked up to my desktop speakers through two TS>RCS cables as RCS are the only inputs on them. Although the 192-6 monitor outputs are TRS, this doesn't damage the interface, but you lose -6dB. In the future, I might invest in some proper studio monitors which have TRS and/or XLR inputs. Overall, the 192-6 offers more features compared to more expensive 2i2o interfaces, has very low noise and latency. Strongly recommended.

Very reasonable, great quality
I'm a fan of M-Audio interfaces, they always sound great. Headphones. First and for most, you'll need a headphone amp to get good sound levels with 250ohm headphones. The device is very slick and shiny looking. The big knob for volume control is really nice and all knobs feel solid and well made. The LED lights are hidden away until you power something which adds to the slickness. The single XLR port is at the back which is very handy because you limit the amount of wires coming from the front. Sound quality is really good and clear sounding and doesn't have any notable self noise. The build quality is metal with a glass looking plastic top. Very decent for the price, especially if you only need one instrument and one mic.

warehouse packaging rubbish
Product fine, but warehouse description as very good packaging maybe damaged is flakey Just an empty box, no holding material rattled around like a pea in a colander No docs or anything Poor first impression

Great for getting midi drums, keyboards and live vocals into my Mac using logic
I am very pleased with this little device. I no longer have a dedicated studio for composing and producing music so need to be able to quickly set something up in the dining room, connect to the keyboard we have set up there and make music. I also want to add vocals so audio/mdi was required. I use logic and a MacBook Pro and all it takes is about 2 or 3 minutes to set up and the same for packing away. I just plug in the midi lead from the keyboard, then the USB C lead to the Mac and some headphones. That is enough for programming drums and keyboards. If I do vocals as well that is just a case of plugging in the mic! It even has phantom power for a condenser mic! Sound quality is fantastic and it is simple to use. I love it! The only irritation, which isn't enough to knock a star off, is the USB C sometimes disconnects! It only seems to happen when I am changing settings, never during a recording, so it is no bother really and is easily fixed by pulling out the lead and reconnecting it.

5 years later. Still standing.
5 years of hard use and still working like new. Connects easy to windows 11 using fl studio. Audio quality is fair for the price. Size is a little on the big size but other than it easily scratching, no issues.

Awesome interface. Absolutely love it and has a great pre-amp considering the price.
I've been able to drive a Shure SM7B no problem with this. Super good quality and a great tool to have. Just want to share a funny story though and it was totally my fault. Not at all to blame to M-Audio - but I got the interface and couldn't hear myself at all. The big dial is the master volume dial and somehow my brain did not process that it even existed. I had spent 6 hours trying to get the interface to work when the master volume dial was equal to 0%. I don't know what I was thinking at the time but felt it was extremely funny to share. I guess it's one of those times where you had to experience the idiocy of it all.

Broken drivers
Drivers are broken as of this time (30th October) and have been for some months now, the microphone is unusable as it keeps resetting to 44100hz and the voice comes out as slow motion in recordings i contacted m audio and they said they know about the issue but yet still months later they have done nothing about it, i ended up getting a different interface.
