I LOVE IT!! Stylish & Great Coffee
I'm not a huge coffee drinker, and when I do drink it I like stuff like Mocha and Latte'. So I occasionally like a good cup of coffee. This is great because I can have a hot cup of mocha or coco and it taste really really good. Plus I love the red stylish simple design. Looks great on my counter top.I use to have a Keurig and I liked it a lot, but the difference is this comes with the ability to make more starbucks type coffee's with cream and foam... etc... I've been happy so far for my needs and plan on giving it as a gift to some people that I know will enjoy it. My Dad is a huge coffee drinker several cups a day even in summer, 365 days and I know he will like it occasionally but he prefers just a basic cup of good freshly ground coffee most of the time.Hope this helps. Amazon reviews help me 99% of the time with purchases so like to come back and return the favor!! Enjoy!

Good luck getting one repaired
I may amend this review later but as of now I am stuck in the hell of the warranty system. The machine, which used to work well, suddenly went kaput (quite spectacularly) and shorted out about a month ago. I went to the website to look up the addresses of repair facilities as the manual directed me to do and guess what - there aren't any listed. So then I phoned up and spent a huge amount of time waiting to talk to a person. Finally, I got interrogated by multiple people (who asked various insulting questions like "is it plugged in?") until they finally consented to allow me to return it. But, instead of giving me a return authorization number, they said they were going to mail me the materials to return the unit. This was 3 weeks ago and I still have not received anything. When I finally do get something that lets me return this gem, apparently I will then have to wait another "4 to 6 weeks" for them to repair it. Let me guess - these German engineers are so proud of their reliable products that they never bothered to set up a repair facility because, you know, these things never break. Sigh!WELL - the shipping label FINALLY arrived. The instructions on it said to call UPS for pickup. When I did that UPS said I had to PAY for the pickup. Excuse me - when you say prepaid shipping and suggest that I call UPS for pickup, that means free to me - not another $10. So far, I have about 3 hours invested in getting this broken coffe make repaired. Considering that the thing only costs $150 new, that is WAY TOO MUCH GRIEF. NOTE to manufacturers of junk that breaks - when your junk breaks, we buyers want YOU to suffer the pain of fixing this - we don't want any more pain - we're already on the hook for buying your unreliable junk.

excellent
Like the coffee maker. It's shape is unique and bright. The only set back that I can see ,has to be Nescafe coffee since they are the only ones that fit (k-2 cups won't fit). There is limited stores to get the coffee from and not a lot of variety in the coffee choices. It does make an excellent cup of coffee out of the choices available. Wish the coffee was available in more stores closer to where I live.

Nice Design....but
The product looks nice. It's a very modern design for a coffee maker, but compared to the other single serve makers, it's not very user friendly. Have used the Tassimo for over a year and wanted to try this new option. The Tassimo has Starbucks branded coffee, but the key difference is you simply hit the brew button and it dispenses the exact amount. The Dolce is simply a lever that you must manually turn off and on. Not a big deal, but to make the drinks you need to know how long to let it brew for 6oz, 8oz, etc. Not a deal breaker, but that's a huge difference from the Tassimo. Not likely going to keep using the Dolce. Back to the Tassimo for me.

I'm an not a coffee consumer but now I am...
I want to start out by saying, I usually dont drink coffee. It just takes so long to prepare, grind the beans, put the filter, water and wait... This machine is amazing, I put the water in, wait like 30 seconds and then move the lever to the right for hot water. BOOM. The drink is done and it's ready for your tasting pleasure. I got the RED machine because my KitchenAid mixer is Red so I figured I'd continue the color scheme. It's got a nice matte feel to it and everything compacts together with an easy to clean components. In the box, it came with a sampler of different drinks and plus if you register your product you get a free box of capsules (16 in total). I have to say I wish the water tank held more water but its okay. Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone in the market for a fast and delicious cup of joe.

Cool LOOKING Coffee maker
Directions were hard follow. Coffee leaked from the upper valve and was hard to clean. I would not recommend this product.

Fun, capsules hard to get
I had this machine on my wishlist and received it as a present. I wanted something like the coffee machines everyone has in Europe where you can get an instant cup of coffee any time of day. Well, you can do that with this machine...if you have the capsules. You might think, "Duh" at that previous statement - but let's say you wake up one morning thinking, "oh I can't wait for my cup of coffee" - you go to the machine - turn it on - drat! you're out of coffee capsules! So you think, "oh I'll just go to the store and get some" BZZZZZ!!! Wrong answer.NOBODY...and I literally mean NOBODY carries these capsules in their stores. Even our local store, WHO SELLS THE MACHINES, does not carry the capsules. Apparently some mumbo jumbo about the company not wanting to retail out the capsules - I don't know. All I know is the only way to get refills is through Amazon or the Nescafe site - which, if you don't sign up for automatic refills, shipping can be as much as $20-30 as they only ship through UPS.My other beef with this machine is that the coffee doesn't come out very hot. That usually doesn't bother me, but I know how some people really like their hot coffee...so just thought I'd mention it.Other than those two cons, I would say it's really fun to use and clean and looks all futuristic on the kitchen counter. It's convenient when you don't want to heat up water for a French press or make a whole pot of coffee - but if you don't want to be stuck with only getting your coffee online, you should probably look elsewhere.

Everything I wanted!
I have been wanting a coffee machine for sometime now but just couldn't bite the bullet and purchase one until last week. I have done my research and checked out all the coffee machines and tried the Mr. Coffee, Keurig, and Tassimo machines at friends houses except for the Circolo. My friend sent me a link to the shopping channel for the Circolo. I did not see this machine before. It was love at first sight! I missed out on buying it on the shopping channel for there deal but was lucky enough to find it here for only 89.99!! I am so impressed with this machine! It is amazing! I wake up every morning now and can't wait for my coffee. I have been switching in between the cappuccinos and the latte macchiato's in the morning and a house blend in the afternoon. I am looking forward to trying the caramel and vanilla macchiato's, along with the mocha that I have seen in the store this week just waiting for them to go on sale. My boyfriend likes espresso's so I will be buying them too once they go on sale. I am still looking for the iced tea and ice cappuccinos brands in store but have yet to find them. I may just go ahead and buy them online. This machine does not take long at all to get used to. It is quite fun actually. I bought some clear glasses and it really looks nice when it is pouring especially with the light in the back. The milk that comes with the 2 step coffees is wonderful. No need to buy any. The coffee tastes better then those at the coffee houses. The 15 bars of pressure is great! I can't say enough wonderful things about this machine! I highly recommend it to everyone who like specialty coffee and just a regular cup of joe. Once I try the other kinds and the cold drinks I will update the review. What are you waiting for!?! Buy one now!

Not satisfied
I'm not happy with this machine at all. I've had problems with water running everywhere and not in the cup. There's a problem with the washer. Also, I wish that there were refillable k cups available. I will be changing to a Breville.

Very good product, but...
I am satisfied with my purchase as the coffee is pretty good, preparation is rapid. A lot of variety is also offered as for the hot drinks. However, I wasn't aware that you have to evaluate the volume of water you need to add for each drink and that you have to manually stop the water on each serve. I'm used to start my coffee, run around while it's preparing and pick it up. And really, gow can you really evaluate 230ml with so many different mugs on the market. This is seriously annoying...

Excellent machine
I loved this coffee maker so much I bought three so I could give one to other family members so they could enjoy this amazing coffee. For my regular morning coffee I still use my Keurig, but when I want something a little special, I make myself a Caramel Latte or Mocha coffee. Buy the glass coffee mugs so you can enjoy the layered effect of the different colors in your cup. The coffee is actually quite hot and I have to wait a few minutes before drinking. The coffee maker itself is very stylish and looks great on any countertop. It is more challenging to find coffee for this machine but I ordered some online at Futureshop and they arrived with two days. This is a great buy and an amazing price. My daughter no longer goes to Starbucks for her Vanilla Latte's since I gave her this coffee maker and she swears it tastes just as good but much less expensive. Also , I only use Brita filtered water in my coffee makers. The water you use makes a big difference.
