Been recommended to buy something like this as suffering with chest infections and nasty cough. This definitely makes the suffering easier, though it doesn’t cure it. I’d say the pads are a bit pricey for that they don’t last long, having to change every 8 hours at the max. so if using long term you’d go through them quickly. The inhaler is very easy to set up and there is clear guide book included on how to set up and how to use it. Unit has to be plugged in while in use so need to make sure you have flat surface near an outlet socket (as the unit shouldn’t be handheld or placed at an angle during use). You can also adjust intensity of the steam which is very easy to do with one button. Overall good product, I would recommend it, specially that it can be used as much as one needs instead of taking useless meds.

I spent a very long time trying to find a good steam-based inhaler. There aren't many good options and this is by far the best value for money. It's easy to use and does what you expect: produce a controlled stream of hot water vapour for a prolonged period of time. It's 100% overpriced for what it is, but as far as I can tell there are no comparable alternatives (the closest being nebuliser machines). I've used this both for inhalation therapy and for a blocked nose, and it has been great for both. For the blocked nose it has a limited effect once you stop using it, which is to be expected, but it's good relief while you do. It's also great for non-medicated inhalation therapy as the steam lasts a long time and is much more comfortable than alternative methods when you need to use it daily (produces around 15 minutes of steam). I've been using it intermittently for a few months and have noticed no issues with durability. The face mask is not the most comfortable fit and you need to be careful not to hold your face too closely sometimes as the vapour can be too hot (both for your face and lungs) so definitely be careful! I don't use the scent pads so can't comment on that.

Bought this as suffer from sinusitis, liked the idea of convenience, nice compact machine sits on the bed side, sturdy make and easy to use works well and gives a good amount of steam, Using it every night which is why I wanted convenience tried both the menthol and rosemary and liked them both although the rosemary fragrance in the room is pushing it to favourite

Followed instructions - only needs 2.5 tablespoons of water in it. Took ages to heat up, so I thought I had a faulty product. Suddenly, it started to produce some steam, but nothing of any real power. You can adjust the steam with a very basic hand control, but it does feel very cheaply made for the price. I had a struggle to fit the face guard as well, it was as if it was not made for the machine. I received 2 Vick pads/filters to insert into a drawer, but they didn't seem strong enough and I would probably benefit more from using a hot bowl and a towel over my head. Make sure that you leave it unplugged for a good while before emptying after use as it remains very hot - as I found out. It's ok for occasional use, but not for very heavy congestion.

Utterly useless. The water reservoir is very small, it produces minimal steam and is empty in minutes. Also after filling the two and a half teaspoons of water that it takes to fill the reservoir, it is very difficult to screw the top back on. If you are thinking of buying one of these because (like me) you think it’s too much faff to use a bowl of hot water and towel over your head, do yourself a favour and stick with the bowl and towel.

Good product. Does the job. Although water reservoir is small it's enough for 15 mins producing just the right amount of steam. I found it of great benefit. Maybe a little bit overpriced.
