Great flavor, solid product
I've tried two other organic dandelion root products and this one is my favorite. I use it for my 'coffee' with organic, roasted chicory root granules (Anthony's brand). 1 tbsp dandelion root, 1/2 tbsp chicory steeped for 15 min in a large mug. The flavor of this dandelion root is the best- it's mild, not too bitter. The roots are smaller in size and so far the two bags I've purchased have been really clean- no weird debris as noted in other reviews. I hope the growing/harvesting practices are truly organic. This one is a bit more expensive than the other two I've tried but I think it's worth the price.

Fresh tasting
Great flavor. It’s brighter and cleaner tasting than the teabag variety from a store. Sometimes I add it to my chamomile in a French press but usually I simply put directly in a mug. Hard to describe the flavor and texture of the softened bits after the tea is gone, I like them and most of us could use the fiber. Seems a waste not to eat them and they’re soft from making the tea.

Never go wrong with this Company!
I make my own medicines, teas, etc. I used this as a tea in the beginning and then bought a capsule machine to begin making my own supplements. Starwest has the best herbs other than a couple of other companies that aren't on Amazon which I wish they were but having Starwest here is amazing!! I haven't received any stale or old herbs, nor have I had any issues w/stems and the such. They've always been fresh and amazing quality. I highly suggest this company and their herbs. Dandelion is good for so many issues. Please do your own research and no I'm not giving medical advice. I'm just merely stating that before you run out for things off of a shelf in a drug store or a pharmacy. Check out what herbs will do for you.

So delicious, and multiple health benefits!
I LOVE this product, and I'm thrilled about the multiple health benefits of dandelion root. The more I read about it, the more excited I get about my new coffee-alternative. I also like Frontier's organic products, and may try their's next, but this one's wonderful! I like the degree of roasting and the small-cut granules, and it smells so wonderful. Here's my recipe for a mug of the most rich and delicious coffee-alternative, with a heavenly aroma! I boil 10 oz. water in the electric kettle and pour it into a small saucepan over: - 1 rounded teaspoon roasted organic dandelion root granules plus - 1/2 teaspoon roasted organic chicory root granules. (Roasted chicory root is another nutritional powerhouse, the best source of inulin, which is a great prebiotic to feed good intestinal flora. But I use less chicory than dandelion because a little goes a long way - the chicory root "coffee" is very intense in density and flavor, and I prefer the dandelion root flavor. You can play with the proportions of chicory to dandelion. A friend does 50/50, which is good, too!) Bring it to a slow boil and turn immediately down to simmer for about 5 minutes, or turn off the heat on an electric burner. It will continue simmering. It's worked with just 2-3 minutes, as well as with more than 5 minutes. Strain into a mug. It's faster and easier than it sounds, and is much easier to clean up than coffee grounds in a French press. I add organic coconut cream and a few drops of stevia to each cup. Sometimes I make my own "bulletproof" version in the blender with 1T. grass fed butter, 1T. MCT oil, 1/4tsp. Ceylon cinnamon, and a 1T. grass fed gelatin or collagen.

great tea for diuretic effect!
I bought this tea to help get rid of water weight. I've only been drinking this for about 2 weeks, and have noticed that I've been needing to go to the restroom more frequently. I'm not exactly sure whether it's the tea working or if it's just me. I did some research about diuretics and found that dandelion root is one of the most helpful with ridding water weight. I went to Whole Foods to check out their options, but everything I found either had other things blended with dandelion or the dandelion root was roasted. I didn't want to drink roasted anything, so I chose to search on Amazon. This was the only product that I found was fitting to my expectations. This tea is organic, raw, and nothing blended. I have to say though, this tea is an acquired taste. My first time trying this tea wasn't really a good experience. It tasted like drinking the water after boiling vegetables. However, after a while, I started to actually enjoy the taste of it (as weird as it may seem). Now, I've decided it's actually a quite refreshing taste. I usually steep about 3 tablespoons of it in a french press for about 10 minutes before drinking. The steeped color of this tea is actually very light. I would advise anyone looking for a solution for losing water weight to give this a try.

The product looks very good. It is the first time I try dandelion root, so I cannot compare to other brands, but it came very well packaged and it is organic. It does not even taste too bad.

I don't know if its going to help
This is the second pack of this that I've bought and again, it tastes awful. I've been disguising the taste in tea with lemon juice and ginger so I can't taste it but it took me a while to find something strong enough to disguise the taste. I'm taking it because i have cancer and I'm told that dandelion root helps to fight it off and clean the blood, help the immune system etc etc. However, I have also recently found out that dried, packaged dandelion root might not be effective. Apparently, it's much better to make your own out of fresh dandelions. This is not practical for me so I opted for this approach. I hope its going to help. I haven't noticed any benefits yet if I'm honest.
