The Amazon delivery person just drop this cap off to me 10 minutes ago. I'm outside in the back with my friends or smoking a bunch of briskets and pork butt for tomorrow's football day and it's Kansas City today October 24th it's I'd say about what 41°. There's a light wind out of the north but we're all outside and you know I've been out there. I grabbed this cap and put it on immediately and I'm going to tell you something it is awesome my biggest fear with the Having a cap that is big enough and this thing is so light so comfortable so warm it's amazing and I've been outside with it now for about 2 hours hanging out. My BBQ team watching football outside and smoking met getting ready for NFL on Sunday. And, this is a hell of a cap I would buy it agai! I'd recommend for you to buy it I've never had a Merino wool cap this rocks.

Not bad. Is not super warm, but definitely helps take the chill off the head. Lighter density than I expected. Still causes my head to itch, but not as much as mixed fabrics do. I like the fact that it's not bulky. I would buy again, just wish they had an even warmer version of this.

Best beanie purchase ever! Exceeded my expectations in quality, comfort, warmth. Stays put on my head, rather than rising-up throughout my active day, requiring me to pull it back down frequently like typical beanies do.

When I got the hat, my first thought was: 'Geez, it's kind of thin and small.' Just a little thing in a plastic package. But the minute I slipped it over my head, I realized how warm it actually was, as well as soft. It's now my favorite go-to-bed hat. The soft wool in this thing laughs at the scratchy, bulky wool hats you may have tried before. It sneers at doom, laughs at danger. You won't be sorry for buying it. Just don't LOSE it.

I love that this hat has two layers, is made from 100% Australian merino wool, and is thin (not bulky). The fact that it was constructed in China is a bit of a bummer, but knowing that it’s 100% Australian merino wool makes up for it. I had a small problem in that my hat arrived with a small hole in the side of it. It looks like it might be a manufacturing defect, but once I start to launder the hat, the hole is only going to get bigger. I reached out to the company, and they went above and beyond in their customer service to make sure that I was taken care of. I have what is considered a large head (difficult to find hats that fit me), but this beanie has just enough stretch to fit just fine. This beanie is easily twice as warm as another beanie I have that is 3x as thick (acrylic yarn). Not only is this a superior quality hat, but the company stands behind their product with superior customer service!

This was so light I almost returned it. Then one cold morning I wore it and was surprised how warm it was. Light, soft and warm.

This is the third beanie I'm getting - my previous purchases were in charcoal grey and orange. Quality-wise these beanies are what Icebreaker used to be - happy to get one in another colour.

I wanted a thinner beanie than the chunky ones I was seeing in stores and this beanie is simply perfect. It is definitely thinner and sits flatter against my head. It looks and feels premium, the quality is excellent. And it’s so warm and comfortable to wear! I’ll be wearing it around the house as well as outdoors because it’s as cosy as pyjamas. It’s made from wool, so it breathes easily; no hot sweaty scalp after a brisk walk. The price point is more than fair. I’ll still be wearing this beanie in ten years time if I take good care of it. I got the charcoal one but I’ll probably get the orange one as well. I’d love another neutral option, taupe or olive green perhaps. If you’re still on the fence about making the purchase: remind yourself you’d be supporting a small business owner and that’s always a thoughtful and responsible decision to make.

I bought this for work. I am a bald paramedic in Canada, so I am in and out of warm places to cold places all the time and need to keep my head warm but not overheated.This hat has proven itself to be warm, breathable and very comfortable and well fitting — exactly what I need.Also, the cap fits close to the skull — as opposed to being a bulky touque like I would wear if I were wearing casual clothing. This was very important to me because a bulky touque with a uniform just looks goofy & unprofessional.

This beanie is light weight, super soft and stretchy. It is well constructed, comfortable and exactly what I wanted so much so that I immediately purchased a second beanie. The seller being so lovely and helpful is the icing on the cake!
