Micro-tearing
THESE CUPS ARE A NIGHTMARE!!! I thought I was getting a great deal and doing something good for me, my wallet and the environment. I WAS NOT!! Sure the packaging and price may seem unassuming but they are hiding the horrors within!Having never used a menstrual cup before I didn't want to spend $40 and turn out to not like it. So this was supposed to be me just dipping my toes into the world of cups. I had seen the reviews saying these things were hard, but for some STUPID STUPID reason I thought, "I have a high pain tolerance and have had weirder things inside me this'll be fine." I WAS WRONG. The plastic is so hard to bend and get a grip on well enough to fold and stuff it inside you, and once it's there it LITERALLY SNAPS BACK INTO SHAPE INSIDE YOU. Which does not feel great and if you didn't manage to get it into position the first time then you basically have to cave man grunt it back into your body as your now slippery fingers try to fold the buggar while it's in there. Then once it's inside and in place and you're out of breath from the struggle, you stand up proud of yourself for your accomplishment but you can still feel it everytime you move. I put it in before bed expecting to be able to set it and forget and wake up to a cup full of blood ripe for the sacrifice but no. It was practically empty (guess my uterus didn't trust it either). Not to mention it was also a pain in the bag to remove, but that wasn't the worst part. The worst part is that thanks to all the micro tearing from stuffing it in then groping it out, I was sore for the rest of the day and it burned when I peed and hurt just as much to try and poop.I don't write this review to scare you away from ever using menstrual cups, but I do write it to save others from making my many mistakes.Invest in a good cup that's the proper size and softness for you, and be gentle with yourself.

1st use experience... **UPDATE**
Just used the small cup for the first time and I leaked a lot. The cup went further up than expected and I had to go on an expedition to find the "stringy" thing. Besides that it held a lot and no gross clots. It was just as comfortable as wearing a tampon. Insertion wasn't too bad, however, removal requires some skill/practice. Hopefully when I get the hang of it I won't leak and removal will be easier. So far I kinda like it...**UPDATE**I couldn't and still can't get a good seal so like 20-30 min after insertion I'm leaking. I used the bigger one and felt like my insides shifted. It's not practical for me cause like I said I leak past the cup and I can't wash it out after every bathroom use. This is not any better than a tampon. I had such high hope that I'd be able to do away with tampons but I had to go back to them. This just isn't working for me as well as I hoped and especially with my line of work, there is no way I can wash this out and reinsert. I'll keep trying every now and again but this isn't working for me.

Highly recommend for beginners or not!
I am SO happy I switched from tampons to these products! I HIGHLY recommend getting these simply because of the 2 sizes and 2 of each size. One to carry extra in case you ever need it, (which you won’t but just for comfort knowing it’s there) and then 2 sizes because even though I have 2 kids and I am older, I have a tilted uterus and the smaller one actually fits better when the Cervix is down lower. Which mine usually is way lower because of my tilted uterus. So I HIGHLY recommend these! Also, don’t forget you can cut the stem! If you are tilted and it’s uncomfortable, cut it! I had to cut mine all the way down. However, I hear that some women fear it can get lost... it’s not possible at all. Just relax, and it will come back down.Great product for the value!!!

Definitely well worth the money !
These are a super great deal! The first time I ever bought the cup I spent nearly $50 on two...this is a pack of 4 for less than $20. The suction is great. Some say there’s too much suction but if that’s the case then push the side to release the suction or it simply means your cup isn’t full yet. If you experience leakage then you aren’t placing it inside correctly. I don’t think anyone should have problems with this except maybe some uncomfortableness when inserting it but that’s with any cup. I’d recommend and reorder.

First time? Not sure? Get these!
I've been curious about menstral cups and didn't want to spend a lot of money trying them. After trying these, I'm pleased with the idea and will use cups as my primary sanitary need during my cycle. These are a great buy. These are inexpensive compared to other products, so if the cup is not for you, you're not out a lot of money with these. The are the two sizes and two of each size in this set. I will repurchase these if I need to replace. I recommend watching videos on the products to help you understand and use them. Even if you don't buy that brand in the video, the concept and information is applicable to these cups. Give them a try!

BEST UPGRADE FOR MY LIFE
It is a serious game changer. Loving my new life. There were a few kinks and bumps to iron out, adjusting to the new lifestyle, but I WILL RECOMMEND THIS TO EVERY WOMAN I TALK TO FROM NOW ON.There's no more drying out or worrying about pad leaks. I don't have any embarrassing, smelly waste products when visiting friend's houses. Just rinse and continue use. It's just a little adjustment and being comfortable with your body to get the cervix in place. But honestly, that's nothing for the trade off. We can be free to go swimming without absorbing pool/lake water or attracting sharks. It's so comfortable and flexible, and honestly, I might leave this review on other, similar products to encourage women to try them.
