Unfortunately, the quality of these sleeves is no longer what it used to be.Under light use, the corners bend, the edges get damaged, and the sleeves break. I have not experienced these problems with older KMC hyper matte sleeves. I have older KMC hyper matte sleeves that are still in fantastic condition that have much more play and shuffling on them.I cannot recommend this product with its current quality.

At the moment KMC Hyper Matte (combined with the Perfect Fit inners) are IMO the best sleeves that I have used. They have a great shuffle feel, and feel 'stiff'. While having a perfectly clear gloss front, so that beauty of the cards shows through.Perfect for MtG cards ... Highly recommended. And the Red ones that I purchased are 100% opaque on the back, no issues about cards peeking through.

I can't go back to using anything else. Protective, stays clean, shuffles beautifully, wears down well. Haven't had one split or tear yet after years of use and they still shuffle great. Only thing even close is dragon shield matte, but I'd still recommend these first.

Same quality as the rest of the KMC hyper mattes but they shouldn't call it RED. It should be called Burgandy as it's much closer to that color.

The corners on these have been wearing out quicker than the same model sleeves in the past have. I'm hoping this is just an aberration rather than the new normal.

They're a bit darker red than expected but still the best sleeves I've ever used.
