Veterinary Tris Flush Cat & Dog Ear Cleaner - Dog Ear Flush - 12 oz

I’ve been using the Pet MD Veterinary Tris Flush Ear Cleaner on my dog, and the results have been amazing. It’s gentle yet very effective at cleaning and preventing ear infections. The addition of ketoconazole helps control yeast and bacteria, which made a big difference for my pet’s itchy ears. I love that it’s non-stinging and has a pleasant scent, leaving my dog’s ears fresh and clean. After just a few uses, the redness and odor were completely gone. The bottle is a great size, and the nozzle makes it easy to apply without any mess. I’ve noticed that regular use keeps buildup and irritation from coming back. My vet even recommended this brand, and I can see why — it works like a professional-grade cleaner. It’s safe enough for both my dog and cat, which makes it super convenient. My Australian Shepard tends to get ear irritations. I have taken her into the vet before and was told it was likely just staying wet from baths or allergies. So I waned to try something OTC this time and I tried this. My dog did not like the flush, but she did not like the one from the vet either. It worked great after the first treatment. I did get some ear wax out. I used it for 2 days (although no symptoms after the first dose) to make sure there was no further problems. No more ‘wet’ sounding ear. No more itchy ear. The fluid is thin and squirts fast. I had a cotton gauze at the ready to help catch the run out and wax. I gave her ear a good rub after using the flush. No strong smells. She was not bothered by it more than the products from the vet. No redness or irritation after using. Worth the money.

Does it work? Yes. Does my dog forgive me after each application? Jury's still out. The product itself seems to do its job - I can see improvement in my pup's ear situation. The problem is that the moment he sees this bottle, he suddenly remembers an urgent appointment literally anywhere else in the house. We've gone from best friends to "I'm calling my lawyer" in 12 fluid ounces. The application process now involves what I can only describe as amateur wrestling, followed by a look of such profound betrayal that I'm considering therapy. For both of us. But hey, his ears are getting better, and isn't that what matters? (He disagrees, but he also eats grass, so we're taking his opinions with a grain of salt.) Was easy to apply and cleaned out my pups ears with ease

Great product! We had an upcoming vet appointment, so I decided to try this to see if it could help. My dog had signs of ear infection. I can't say enough about this product, the debris loosened, and it stopped the infection from progressing. When I brought the product to my dog's vet appointment for review, he indicated "excellent choice". He advised to continue the usage for another 7 days. Since my dog is prone to ear infections, this is a life saver, she did not need medication! (For some reason My dog did not care for the bottle, so I use a small cotton ball, I applied by "squeezing the cotton ball" to apply the product (drops) to her ears.) Thank you so much for a great product! Highly recommend!

Our usual brand of ear cleaner/flush was out of stock. Out of desperation, I purchased this to try. This is an ear cleaner or flush, it is liquid, basically the consistency of water. This product has a very light scent which initially I was concerned about, but it is actually a pleasant kind of cucumber scent, not strong at all. It contains ketoconazole, which our vet recommended. This product turned out to actually be better than our old cleaner/flush that was out of stock. This product is great for removing “gunk” from ears. For ear issues, we generally use a big squirt in each ear, gently rub the base of each ear and then let the dog shake it out, (best done outside). I like doing it this way initially since ears can be painful and tender when inflamed. We do this flushing daily and after about a week, once ears aren’t as tender, we soak a couple of cotton balls in this cleaner. Put one in each ear and rub the base of each ear, then remove the cotton ball and gently use additional cotton balls to wipe the ear as needed. This product has saved us many vet trips and has become our new “go to” ear cleaner/flush. It is not an instant fix, it takes a week or two to begin seeing improvement. Once ears are healthy, we use this as a flush, once a week or so to help keep bacteria and yeast away. For dogs with extremely painful or swollen ears, we do still make a trip to the vet for a prescription ear medication containing a steroid for more immediate relief. We definitely recommend this ear cleaner/flush. It works great and the price is fantastic.

My dog had some issues with his ears, resulting in uncomfortable scratching of his ears to the point he was scraping his ear hair off and making his ears bleed. This flush helped clear out whatever was causing the irritation, providing effective relief within a few days. The irritations came back a few times and this has stabilized his ear health consistently, keeping the dog happy.

I used this product in my cat’s ears every day for a week then once every other day for a month. It helped clean his ears but I believe that his ear mites are not healed, because his ears are super dirty only after 1.5 weeks after the last tris use. If your cat has ear mites I recommend that you use another product.
