Accu-chek Lancets
I first had my blood sugar tested with one of these lancets in a hospital, and was VERY impressed with them. When I came home, I researched a vendor and have found 2 over the years-the 2nd through Amazon.

I love these
I have used these lancets for several years after discovering them on a Doctors office visit. Very comfortable and they are adjustable for depth. They are particularly good for travel and carrying around. Easily disposed. I highly recommend these.

PERFECT! I am a hard stick, BUT Accu-Chek lancets work everytime.
Trying to testing my sugar was frustrating & I usually failed. Even when the nurse, the hospital, etc. attempted to check my blood sugar, it was always somewhere between very difficult to impossible. During one hospital stay, the staff gave up trying.A visiting nurse had a selection of lancets. She tried sticking me with 3 different lancets but none of them produced enough blood to test. With my agreement, she stuck me a FORTH time using a Accu-Chek lancet.............Amazing, almost painless & I could have tested my blood sugar 3 or more times from the amount of blood it produced. Finally, I am free of repeated failures, frustration, guilt, lectures regarding my failure to test often, etc.

Maybe yes, maybe no
The nurse at the clinic used this exact lancet to check my blood sugar. It looked so quick and easy. She was definitely able to draw blood for the test.My son took a photo of the box so that we could order identical lancets. What did we receive? Neither of us could remove the needle safety cap by hand. Then we tried pliers. I still could not pull a cap off. My son could only forcefully use the pliers to remove the caps.My son had to remove the safety caps off of 20 out of 200 lancets to give me a one week supply. This is ridiculous! My son will have to use pliers to remove the caps off of the remaining 180 lancets. Is all this trouble worth $64.95? No.I do NOT recommend this product.

Button to hard!
I was given a box of these in my new test supplies. I just became diabetic. I'm needle phobic from childhood trauma. Let me tell you, the button on these are awful. You have to push very firmly to get it to activate. I don't have the courage yet to put that button hard enough. I had my husband push the button for me. He's a diabetic as well. He even commented how hard the button was to push. Thankfully my meter came with a separate lancet device and I tried that one with their sample lancet. That button is super easy to push and I didn't have to think about it since it fired with very little effort.
