Super bright, did not expect that from such a small light.

Extremely low light bulb not really usable for fog or driving lights

I bought these for cosmetic purposes only and did not expect much illumination (Osram Night Breakers HID D2S alone, provide sufficient illumination). As an additional parking light, these pairs are great and as they are small (just over an inch in diameter) I don't have to worry about scraping them against the pavement. Note, however, that they do not come with any sort of bracket so you would have to create/provide your own. I fabricated aircraft aluminum alloy and bought stainless steel bolts, nuts & washers at a local TrueValue (TV's have better selections of hardware than other larger franchise stores). Update: I bought another pair as I liked them. I drove in rain and they seem to be water-proof. If you're expecting primary lighting for visibility improvement, these are not right for you, but if you want cosmetic lighting, grab them. Although they do not cast much light, the Cree's are insanely bright and the oncoming vehicles WILL see you so try to aim them slightly downward.

The light output in a narrowish cone is a little better than a lamp with a 21W bulb each; so not for see-by-lights, but fine as marker lights. At 14,6V current draw is about 0,16A = 2,4W. (My current reading may be a bit off.) They have the same light output down to cirka 7V, with a higher current draw. There are no USDOT- or e-markings I can find. This is not noted in the description (but on the box) so one minus point. The studs come not fitted, so bolts are easily substituted. I have not had the chance to test them fitted, but 12h on the bench and 12h in a pan of water have not shown any problems. Only thing af note is that one get a good bit hotter than the other, though light output and current draw is the same.

Working great so far, I retro fitted them into my 1999 Toyota 4runner fog light housing and haven't had any issues.

Not for driving... not for fog lights... perhaps parking lights? They are bigger then I expected but I felt that that would be ok. I purchased them as back up lights. They WILL give you enough light to back up, HOWEVER, they are larger than they need to be for the brightness. I used to have smaller ones that were just as bright for maybe less money. So, these will sit on the shelf.

I was very pleased and surprised at the quality of these lights. They appear to be anodized aluminum billet with 2 stainless fastener studs on the back. I installed these on the rear of my truck with a back up camera for hooking to my RV and they work great.

These were way too small. Could see this on first sight. Returned immediately.

I can’t install.. No place and it doesn’t fit with Toyota 2000 4Runner 3rd Gen as what it says in the specs .. I cancel of returning it because it’s not free for postal .. But for now .. I’m not using it maybe using it in other car but not what I expected
