The flag holder is very durable and I like the long tube to put the flag pool in vs a shorty and a nut to lamp down on the pole. The screws to attach to the wall should be the same color as the holder. They were just silver vs black

I had to replace the flag pole holder I had, twice. We get some pretty strong winds every now and then, the plastic ones tend to brake at the point where the screw holes are. This one I would almost guarantee won't do that. It's very well made

I wanted a way to mount my flag that was different from the typical plastic mounting brackets you see on most homes. I also didn't want to mount it on my front porch. I found this wrought iron bracket and it was exactly what I was looking for in mounting hardware. I was able to mount my flag on to the brick of my house. The bracket comes with two thunder studs for mounting into concrete. I opted for using Tapcons to mount on the brick. This bracket can be mounted on wood or other surfaces as well.
