Works just fine, but not previous quality.
Had to pick up another of these when I adjusted my CB antenna location on my Jeep and had to run the cable again. This new connector is a far cry from the quality of the one I bought 5years ago. This one just feels much cheaper, and the rubber boot barely stays on the connector. It works for what I intended, but if I still took my CB in and out often (Midland 75-822) between vehicles and to spot for other drivers, I feel that this connector would fail quickly. Time will tell.

Works well.
Somebody said its hard to put on, in my case it seemed a little loose, but then again I've used some cheap wire, remember, connector is a twist on (there is thread on it if you look inside where the wire goes), the rubber is a push on.

Coax connector
This is great for emergency repairs. Easy to install, but it really needs to have the center conductor soldered.

I had some trouble getting a solid fit of the twist on threads onto the outter cable cover. I had to build up the thickness with black tape. It was not FireStik cable. It was a cheaper brand, which may have a thinner casing than Firestik cable. The soldering did not hold. This is probably my fault.
