This adapter did the trick. Couldn't find it at the local big box hardware stores. Was gifted a natural gas grill with the quick connect fitting, and had to adapt it to our patio gas port. One 1/2 inch to 3/8 inch reduction fitting and this adapter and we're in business. Nice that they included plenty of gas dope tape but it's thin so wrap multiple times. Excellent product, and if it's really solid brass (feels heavy enough to be), it will outlast me!

Perfect for what it is. But be sure of what you need.
The product is perfect. Well made and functions well. Unfortunately, plumbing is confusing. This item is "pipe threaded" while most LPG gas house fittings are "flare threaded" and the two are NOT compatible when though they "fit". Once I learned that, the adapters were ready to get and the installation was easy and quick.An excellent product, but know what fittings you have and/or will need for this "pipe threaded" item.

Fittings are fine, but the included tape isn’t
The thread seal tape included is just normal thin pvc tape dyed yellow. It is not gas rated.

3/8” Quick Connect As Advertised
I paid for overnight and it came the very next day. Well maybe not by 10AM… The only thing I missed was the 1/2” to 3/8” brass bushing fitting to install it into.So off to Home Depot so I can finish the job and start enjoying my Weber gas grill this summer.

What a great purchase this was
We just moved from out of state. I brought our Weber natural gas barbecue with us, because our kids house has a nat gas line on their patio. I needed all but one item in this kit. I first checked at the local big box store. Just the quick disconnect part was $24. That seamed ridiculous to me, so I looked on Amazon, not expecting to find any parts I needed. I couldn’t believe it when I found all these parts together for a fantastic price. They came the next day, and the quality was wonderful. I’m very glad that I decided to look for these on Amazon.

Exactly What I Needed
I have an older Weber Summit, this was the perfect quick connect to connect to the gas line. Works perfect and is heavy duty.
