These come in so handy for so many things. I use these(all different lengths) for all kinds of projects that need to be held together temporarily. They have lasted for years outside in northwest weather and still look like and feel like new. Expensive but worth the money for so many uses.

These Nite Ize Gear Tie rubber twist ties work great. I have ordered various sizes in the past. Besides these 6” ties, they are available in 3” and 12” sizes, as well as longer lengths. I would like it if they were available in 8” or 10” lengths, but I work with what they offer. These twist ties can be used for a wide variety of home, office, and travel needs. I mainly use them to secure the wide assortment of electrical cords we have in the bathroom (hair dryers, straighteners, curling irons, Waterpik, etc.). I had used rubber bands in the past, but they kept breaking. I like that they are made in the USA. The only negative thing about them is the price. If you have a lot of cords/cables, it doesn’t take long for the cost to add up. Despite that, I like them and would recommend.

I mainly use this product for cable management on camera builds, and these work like a charm. Low-profile, light weight, and extremely quick and easy to use. Keeps camera builds looking tidy.Previously, I had opted for shorter Gear ties, but I really like the 6in length. The 3in ties were not always long enough for my needs.

Because the Nite Ize ties are available in several sizes, they are versatile. In addition to using them to organize different cables and cords, I also use them for a variety of outdoor recreation activities. Here are two examples. They work great for keeping a drop shot weight and/or tag fly attached to my fishing rod and not tangling while walking down to the water. I also used two different sizes to make a spinning rod carrier that allows me to easily transport two rods when fishing from shore (see photos). The four-star score on sturdiness should really be 4.5. I've had to replace the ties on the rod carrier once because, like any metal wire, constant bending and unbending will eventually cause the wire to break (think of a paper clip). This is not the manufacturer's fault but inherent in the material it's made of.
