I live in a small home that was built in the 70s. There's no central Heat and Air but i have quality units in the wall and window in my room. My home stays at 72 year round. I recently had to have my main wall unit replaced and it's a few BTUs less but way more efficient. It needed some help to circulate and i have the perfect spot for it. There is some white noise but nothing my 7.1 surround sound isn't knocking out. The fan is angled and completely circulates the air in my kitchen/living space. It's amazing that one quality shop fan can make such a big difference in the majority of my home. It's sturdy, easy to clean and mine hasn't had any issues, digs, ect. The low setting is more than enough for 5-600sqft so I'm sure in a larger space, would be very effective. I hope it lasts a long time

I was afraid by getting a heavy duty fan ,it would be quite load, but it is not. Comes straight out of the box ready to use. It has a very thick extra duty cord plus it has a handle on it that my wife uses to move to different parts of the house to dry the floor after mopping. It is perfect for dogs , they love the big push of air ,pretty hot here in Texas. Made to use in the garage but is quiet enough inside so we can hear the tv.

We have had this for many years and it is still blowing strong. After this amount of time it has gotten a bit more noisy, but we continue to use it at night. The size is perfect for night time use and it puts out a lot of air movement. Sometimes we have to aim it up because it puts out so much air. It has 3 speed settlings making it great for different temps. I strongly recommend this and I know when this one goes out I will buy another.

I purchased the two pack 18" fans. I live in the south and it's been unmercifully hot this season! Our air conditioner hasn't been able to keep it comfortably cool enough so I bought these hoping to help circulate the cool air a bit more. I am very impressed with how powerful these fans are!! I have them setup at each end of the kitchen/living room to create some cross air flow and they really WORK!! I guess they would probably be considered a little loud but most high velocity fans are. The noise doesn't bother me though, I sleep with a box fan going year round just for the white noise. My one and only complaint is the length of the power cords. They're pretty short so I'm limited on where I can position them. That's the only reason these got 4 stars instead of 5. If the power cords were even just a foot longer, I would have definitely rated it five stars. Overall, I really love these fans. They're powerful, produce a lot of air and feel sturdy so I expect them to be durable.

This fan is extremely powerful and moves a lot of air even on the lowest setting. It cools the room quickly and works well for ventilation. The build quality feels solid, and it’s surprisingly quiet for its size. Easy to set up and reliable. Great choice if you need strong airflow.

I have been looking for a nice fan for years. I have had this fan for about a week now and use it every night, all night. 1. Well-built. 2. Moves a ton of air! 3. Makes a lot of white noise which I need for sleeping. 4. Only 2 drawbacks that I see are (1) The power cord is pretty short - maybe a few feet, and (2) You have to make sure the screw and nut stays tight at the bottom, otherwise you might get a rattle sound. 1-MONTH UPDATE: Still works great, but I need to add 1 more drawback: When I plugged the fan into a power strip, the motor got hot and smelled like it within 1 hour of running on low. When it's plugged into the wall directly, no problems. I am NOT an expert in electricity, so my power strip might be bad, not grounded, etc. That was just my experience - so I would stick with only plugging it into the wall outlet, and not a power strip.

Had for almost a year and never take them off low speed. They do muffle out most noise on low witch is also nice. High during sleep isn't great to loud. But they work way better then those expensive towers or plsstic box fans

Very powerful fan. Had one of those 16in standup plastic fans they sell for 20-40$ at all the major retailers. It felt like it did nothing. Caved and spent 100$ on this fan. WORTH!!! Great power. Forces air around a room. Useful if opening windows doesn't give a good breeze or if you cant open like my case. Isnt exactly AC but it actually cools you off. Even on Low its powerful. I usually use Medium if very hot or just Low to push around air in my room at night. Noise level isnt bad because the fan is "white noise" like a bathroom ceiling fan for instance. I sleep easily with this on any level because the rooms soo much cooler. Slight rattle of the metal-on-metal but goodluck having an industrial fan that is SILENT. Its not even that noticible, if you find you cannot deal with it just return it. Have had my fan now about a month and it works great, cools me off, and made me go from sweating everyday all day to literally feeling comfortable again in my home. Fan has a warranty with the company that sells it, though Amazon, that lasts 1 year after Amazons 30day ends. You have 13months incase this thing breaks to get it fixed/replaced. Amazon Customer Service said if they refuse to fix it under warranty but I am still in the year range after the first month to call Amazon and they would deal with the company and get it dealt with as well! Pretty solid deal in my books. 10/10 Recommend!
