I am pretty unhappy with this purchase, but it was mainly my fault.I viewed on a forum that this would work with the ESC that comes in a mini 8ight. It will NOT. I have it hooked up and it works perfectly with my Castle Sidewinder, but it won't work for the Losi unfortunately. I originally bought this so that I could dial the ESC down to 50% throttle or less, but it turns out I needed the Losi brand cable.That being said - it works very well for my Castle setup. I ended up buying her a cheap castle setup to go in the Mini 8ight anyway, it wasn't worth it to buy another cable and worry about all that mess.

I purchased a castle esc and motor and couldn't use nimh batteries because it was setup for low voltage cutoff for lipo. I had to order this to change the setting so I could use my nimh batteries.I had no idea this would allow so much customizability of the settings. I like that I can use this to limit the top power on my esc so I can let my 4 year old play with my car without fear of her running it into something at full speed.It was really easy to install and setup and is fairly intuitive to use.

I use these in my RV to power various 5, 6 & 9 volt devices (that come with 120 power supplies/transformers) from the 12 volt house batteries instead of plugging those power supplies into a 12 volt DC to 120 volt AC inverter. Clean stable output. Easy to program.

Worked great for programming my Holmes Hobbies Torquemaster ESC. I also have a BEC that will be installed someday. The mini USB was a little tight on mine, wasn't plugged in all the way and wasn't connecting. User error, make sure it's plugged in firmly!

Great little tool, I was really on the fence about getting this. I wasn't sure I would "need" it. However it's worth the price and then some! Easy to use and install on PC, a great tool that NO ONE who runs any CC electronics should be without. Hooked it up to my CC 10A BEC and set my servo voltage unplugged it and hooked up the Holmes Hobby BRXL and double checked the factory settings, made an adjustment to my drag brake and off and running!

Kinda useless unless you are going to jump deep into the setting. The only setting I have changed is the battery mode and played with a few others. If you do buy this I highly recommend buying the Castle Y connector at least for those using a waterproof receiver. If I would have known the "Field Card" does the exact same I would have gotten that instead.A massive negative for the card or maybe Castle is the lack of clear color marking on the ESC and card. It is a 50-50 shot of it working the first time, but when you get it wrong you get a red light and that is all, no damage to anything.
