I've been using Butterfly Wallets since early 2013. I'll be using them for life. They're light, durable and cheap. A side benefit is they've been a great conversation starter. I get about five years of use out of each one before they become too dirty for my liking. The stitching has never failed. Each of the three pockets can hold up to six cards comfortably, though I carry eight cards overall including a Tile card. They can carry 10 bills comfortably. I believe I bought my first wallet at REI when there were a bevy of color options available. It's not my first choice, but I think I'll go with the sky blue wallet this time around. I miss the brighter colors to help a misplaced wallet stand out. A note to Mark, it would be great to have lime green, construction orange or safety yellow color options.

I bought one of these years ago. It never actually wore out, but years of use made it a bit disreputable looking. I could probably have cleaned it, but it's such a great product, I decided to buy another one to support the company. It has cured me of fat wallet syndrome. I'll never go back to any other style of wallet. It's exactly what it should be and no more. Weighs nothing. Disappears in your pocket. Holds everything you need but won't let you accumulate things you don't. Perfect.

It is supper light and worked well. The issue I had with it was that it was too light and frequently came out of my pocket when I pulled out my phone. This resulted in me losing my wallet.

I had my last butterfly wallet for 6 years. I tried some of the ‘new’ ridge wallets and after a couple unhappy purchases I replaced my butterfly wallet. It is the best minimalist wallet available and just works/lasts a long time.

I like that's small. I noticed that the cards slip out easily. It also doesn't close right when there is a lot of cash inside. It's also slippery when holding it.Its a good wallet.

I'm on my second one, the first one lasted about 4 years and I replaced it only because it looked worn and was staring to thin out in the corners, was still working perfectly. Have seen other similar lightweight options and none of them come close to the full functionality of this one as a normal wallet and this is by much much thinner also. When loaded with cards it holds its shape very nicely. I usually carry 11 cards plus cash and everything fits nicely and easy to access while feeling secure.

Very cheaply made with little sign of thoughtful design. If you need a wallet to go in a small place like tight clothes in case you needed it, it would be probably best to scotch tape the wallet shut to keep stuff from falling out. That idea is of course highly impractical, as is this wallet.As to buying it for your butterflies, as a gentleman butterfly farmer I feel well qualified to suggest other accessories. By the time a monarch flew to mexico with this wallet, everything would fall out. The good part of that is there would be nothing left for the mexicans to rob.

Too thin and not as expected.I could not put much in it.Will not be using it....good give away bill fold.
