Useful Project Mat
Picked this up to keep things organized as I worked on my GPU, as I wasn't sure how messy it was going to get. Didn't actually get that crazy, but this mat was still very helpful, keeps those small screws from rolling around, and being able to write on it to track what section or step they belong to is nice. Mat is pretty thick and lays flat, seems like it will work for a long time as long as it's treated OK, as in don't scratch the top of it, as that might damage the erasable surface/risk further damage. Marker it comes with is wet erase, I assume so you don't accidentally wipe the words off, but I think the surface would work OK with dry erase as well. Overall a nice project mat, good quality for the price.

A helper.
You get a good deal here as this mat makes projects easier I’ve used this mat so much. It helps::: Organize screws and brackets when taking apart phones and computers. It helps when you need to jot down a little note. I took apart a phone motherboard and it helped me keep track of where screws go. It works as advertised.

Bought for $10, did what I needed it to
I could’ve bought a cheaper one but went with this brand for familiarity sake. It’s fine, it magnetizes and it isn’t as sturdy as I would’ve liked but I’ll still get a ton of use out of it.

Very useful
The mat is pretty decent, it doesn't feel cheap and it's got some thickness to it. Having the gridlines is very helpful in keeping the small pieces of hardware separated. I used this to take a cell phone apart and it did what I wanted it to do perfectly. All the screws stayed in place and I was able to label each square. Only thing is, the eraser is for a dry erase marker, but the marker is a wet erase marker, so the eraser didn't do anything to erase the pen marks. I had to erase the pen marks with a damp towel, which worked just fine.

Buy it. If you tinker, repair, or examine, it is a lifesaver (and sanity saver)
I use those harbor freight magnetic bowls, but for some items (in my case a drone) the screws are small, there are a ton of them, and they are all different sizes. This helped save my sanity as there is nothing more fun than dropping a tiny screw on carpet and trying to find it... Buy one. I bought 2. Uber handy.

This mat worked great to keep all the pieces in place while taking apart a laptop.

Proven to be handy
This is a simple magnetic mat, with a grid. I use it when disassembling small complicated items and the screws need to be grouped and ordered. It works well. It is especially helpful when you have multiple sizes of tiny screws which came out of a device in some order and you need to keep track of them. I also like that you can write on it with dry erase marker. Very handy and not expensive.
