Leviton 5634-E 15 Amp, 120/277 Volt, Decora Single-Pole, AC Combination Switch, Commercial Grade, Grounding, Black

According to Amazon’s description, the 5634-W is commercial grade. The switch is stamped Spec Grade. Not impressed.

I've used Leviton switches and outlets in my house many times before and always obtained good results. This was a second attempt to repair a problem with a similar part. After the first premature failure (2 months) I though it might be a fluke or possibly an install problem. The 2nd premature fail convinced me this is a poorly engineered, substandard device. I threw it away and bought another vendor's switch combination that is holding up quite well. You can't ignore reliability and keep your customers satisfied!

We bought a very old house that needed some fixing up. We spent our entire budget redoing the entire kitchen and have no money left over for any of the other areas that could also use a good updating. Instead, I’ve chosen to focus on the small things that make a house look rundown and old. Some of those things are old hinges that have been painted over, old light switches, old light switch faceplates, old door knobs and hardware, and drapery rods. I love this switch because it looks clean. This really helped disguise the age of our home without a lot of money or effort. I definitely recommend this.

I bought this dual-rocker switch to replace a generic brand that came with my bathroom reno project 4 years ago. That switch broke from apparent abuse. The 411 is these rock from side to side (vs top-down) and hence, are easier to break since users, primarily more understandably-negligent tenants, would slap these 'off' on the way out of the bathroom and would wear faster. I just installed these last week and they work great. Also, as the big switch brand, there's a YouTube video on how to install this exact product. No problem so far. Hopefully they will hold up and only time will tell. 'course, if they break, I'm gonna get one of those single-rocker switches, which costs 1/3 of these.

Because you chose to cut corners and replace the two screws with smaller versions, and only one of the originals was intact I had to go to hardware store for replacement. What I was given was too big and I attempted to drill out hole and then attempting to screw that in the screw broke off now blocking the hold. If you cut corners on such small items I would assume you have equally done so with internal parts. The product probably is good but the grief it caused was extremely frustrating including pinched fingers due to having to use small pliers to assist.

soft and quiet, but almost too soft. it's not as deliberate of a change when manipulating switch, almost seems to not always snap over. the lutrons are almost too snappy, but i think i prefer that over the softness. and compared to the lutrons, these are slightly softer white. maybe off whiteish. but i needed a non dimmer, non smart, stacked switch, and this was it. lutron doesn't make one. fits with other switches well, color is still close enough, barely noticable.

While not made in the US (what is anymore) this is a good switch that wont burn your house down. So often today many electrical parts made overseas are sketchy at best. This is a good switch that is certified and has a warranty made in Mexico and should last a very long time.

This meets expectations, except for perhaps the quietness of operation. These aren't as loud as the older snap switches, but they do feel a little less "smooth" than their larger standard decora-style switches. In other words, there's a little more "clunk" when I operate this dual-load switch than the single-load switch right next to it.

Was exactly what I had expected and arrived very fast installed right away without issue. Please not that it dose not come with cove plate. I figured that so it was not a surprise
