I have 7 border collies that run about on our small acreage in the country. They can track in with wet and muddy tummies, legs, and paws on those rainy, heavy dew, or snow days. These matts do a great job of catching the dirt and moisture. Shake out well. Wash up nicely. Well made with very nice material. I have 4 of these matts in medium to large size. 1each at each entrance to our home. The large one I use as a long runner at the most used entrance. I use one under the big water dish for the dogs. Protects the wood flooring well from sloppy drinking dogs. Matts slide slightly on wood floors but stay in place much better then other matts I've purchased in the past. Ive had the matts for several months and still look new after heavy winter wear and a couple washings. Dry nicely. Will buy more in the future.

Have tried a lot of things to try to keep the mud down with my mastiff, new floors, and a muddy yard. His paws haven't fit in the "paw washers" since he was 4 months old, and despite ongoing training, he's still not a fan of having his paws touched. Taught him to "turn around" on the rug when he comes in (repeat up to 3 times, depending on the mud levels) which effectively wipes his paws. Since replacing the industrial doormat with this rug about a month ago, the muddy smears on the floor beyond have decreased by about 90%! The muddy paw prints that do happen may only be user error - letting him in and not having him turn around before entering. So far, it has washed and dried nicely in the machines.

These rugs are perfect for my dog’s dirty feet after being outside. It absorbs water and helps remove dirt from my dog’s paws as he comes in from the yard. I also have one under his food/water dish. I have one by the front and back door. I also decided to use one in front of the kitchen sink. The feel is soft, the color red is perfection. I highly recommend these rugs!

These things work pretty much as advertised. I started off with a smaller one, and then went to a bigger one because my puppy comes in from the back door with water and mud on his paws. I wouldn’t say that it absorbs and cleans every bit of water and dirt off of their paws, but it does a pretty good job to the point where I bought a second one.

Love this mat! Tried a cheap version and it did not help much This one catches probably 90% of what was being tracked in by pets/people. When I wash it, I shake it out first, and there is so much sand and dirt! Helps a lot with maintaining a clean floor! Washes great! Highly recommend this one. Would buy again.

I bought this for our entry way. I have the large rug. I had a smaller rug that did nothing. This rug is fabulous! It traps the dirt and mud. I vacuum it a few times a week and shake it outside also. I have washed it once a month for the 8 months I have had it, and it’s in great condition. If you have pets, this is a great purchase!

I have two grand dogs and had them both during a rainy day-picked up 95% of wet paws, dirt and mud! Grabs grass, etc from shoes as you just walk on it!! I tell everyone about it! Hands down best rug I’ve ever had! Both children with the dogs now have one at their houses and love them, too!

I've had this about 3 months and washed it 3 or 4 times. It has held up to washing very well. We live in the PNW so have muddy dog feet much of the time and this, along with our wiping their feet down with towels, keeps much of the mud, dirt, sticks, etc. out. Not perfect, but I didn't expect it to be. Shake it out and wash it and it looks good as new so far. Definitely happy with it.

Very disappointed as my first purchase was great. This second one I purchased should never have passed quality control. Purchased through Amazon and seller can no longer be contacted 😡. These mats are not cheap!

This grips well and stays in place as a doormat. During fall we are constantly battling against leaves coming inside our small suite - the text of the mat grabs the leaves easily, as well as any other dirt we bring in. It's long enough that even with the dog galloping through the front door after a walk, it soaks up enough of the wet/mud on his paws so that we aren't wiping up his footprints afterwards. My only gripe is the size of it - 48 inches long is great, but it would be better if it was at least 36inches wide to cover the entirety of the doorway. If you had a smaller, or less jubilant, dog you could get away with orienting it the other way but we need it to act as a runway essentially.Also it's very flexible, no stiff backing, so super easy to wash without worrying about damaging your washing machine.

This is a MIRACLE rug...no exaggerating. I had soooo much stress dealing with mud, dog hair, dirt etc on our new floor in our newly renovated house. The landscaping is not done yet so when the dog came back inside, usually dirt, mud, etc came back in too. I laid down sheets, rugs, towels, everything I could think of to try and keep the kitchen floor clean. Nothing worked and in fact, the sheets or towels I laid down looked even worse because they would be full of dog hair. I researched on line quite a bit as I wanted a rug that would help but also look attractive in our brand new kitchen. This Gorilla Grip carpet is remarkable. I would give it 10 stars if I could. The quality is great...does not look cheap...I bought the 60 x 36 in charcoal, and it looks beautiful in our grey kitchen. Our dog lays on it all the time and no dog hair shows. The dirt that comes off his paws does not show on the rug. I noticed another review that commented that it still looked great after weeks and had not even washed it yet....well that IS true. After 3 weeks I finally washed it just so I could see how well it washed. But it still looked great after 3 weeks of not washing. I washed it on gentle and ran it through the spin cycle 2X to get more of the water out...then dried it on low...came out perfect. I did notice some paw prints on the floor even with this carpet but so much better than before. I am ordering 2 more for the front and side door...expensive but worth every penny.

Excellent for what I wanted, make my corso and frenchy sit and wait three-five minutes so there paws dry. It works like a charm, wish I bought a bigger size. I have washed it and it didn’t fall apart. Perfect for what I was looking for.

I like the size & texture of this mat. I feel it's on the more royal blue side than navy blue based on others I've ordered. Backing looks nice & strong, pile is a bit shorter than I'm used to using but it works well at my door entrance to prevent dirt from going onto my floors. Absorbs water well & is a good value for the price.
