Not nearly as purple as the picture, but still an AWESOME product.
I am totally in love with this paddle. I read the reviews before buying it, so I was already aware it wouldn't be anywhere near as purple as shown in the picture, but loved the many comments about the good quality of the wood, so I gave it a try. This thing is solid, smooth, easy to grip, does have a slight purple tint to it, and best of all works perfectly for my purposes. It provides a nice sting and sounds great. I love it!

"meaty"
Shipped quickly, arrived discreetly as advertised. Not as deep in general color but it has a vibrant purple tone that I absolutely adore. Thick and weighty ("meaty" is how my partner put it) and it has a lovely thud to go with the sting. It's a gorgeous, hand crafted tool and aberrations are to be expected, but it seems so flawless.A quick test run proved it will do the job of making it a chore to find a comfortable seated position the next day.Thank you!

Remarkable Improvement in Behavior
The Purpleheart Spanking Paddle Handmade by Walt is a wonderful product. The quality is absolutely commendable. The paddle is about 1/2 inch in thickness and has a very satisfying weight when held in one hand. The corners have been rounded to perfection and the grain and texture of the wood is very aesthetically pleasing.I have also noticed a remarkable improvement in the behavior of my wife. Highly recommended.
