The PN 1. 1 is built for comfort and function in a time trial position. Based on ISM's line-topping Attack saddle, the PN 1. 1 features a blunted nose and cutout split to provide a more supportive platform than traditional pointy-nosed saddles, even when you're scooted up on the rivet to squeeze out those few extra watts. This saddle provides a bit more padding than the Attack to counter the minimal chamois found in most triathlon-specifc shorts, and the unique split design reduces pressure on soft tissue and nerves to increase overall comfort and reduce numbness. The ISM PN 1. 1 features an extra narrow, 110mm rear width to provide riders of all types with a variety of positioning options out on the road. This profile allows you to scoot back on the saddle to tackle a climb, perch on the nose to power through a flat section, and change positions as needed without any worries related to thigh and hamstring clearance. The result is less chafing, less numbness, and more fun on every ride.

Game Changer!
Followed the set-up instructions and then made a few adjustments on the road and, like magic, it feels perfect. With my stock Specialized seat all the pressure was on my soft tissue, irregardless of setting up or down on aerobars, and after 10 miles of dialing this seat in all the pressure went to my butt bones, exactly where it should be.I decided to change because I got a urinary tract infection (UTI) after a week of riding about 100 miles. I did some research and people who cycle are more prone to UTI's, especially if all the saddle pressure is pushing on their soft tissue. Now that I have this seat dialed-in I can start riding confidently again, no thoughts of another UTI.

Bike saddles are very much an individual choice... what one person finds amazing, another will think is like sitting on a rusty saw blade. It really all comes down to your specific shape and how it fits the saddle. Having said that, this ISM saddle gives a great ride. It was my first split-nose saddle. Although these are typically used by triathletes, I have mine on my "regular' Felt road bike and it works great. The split nose takes just enough pressure off the right (wrong?) places, making it very comfortable to ride for long trips. It is even okay on long trainer rides, where your ass can really take a beating in a short time. The saddle is well made, has just the right amount of cushioning, and is light-weight enough to not make a noticeable difference in the overall weight of the bike. Give it a try, it may or may not be perfect for you, but it's a solid choice and worth trying.

Took a few weeks of tweaking to make it work: it’s a keeper.
Love the aero-tuck position (on trainer) and just had try this. Notice the sit bones are behind the junk while in tuck. I position the sit bones right on the shortened nose with the junk overhanging in front of the saddle’s nose. Even with extra padding, it feels quite stiff on the sit bones, more than my Selle Turbo: definitely need a chamois. No numb junk after 2 hour spin unlike the Selle; any sit bone soreness goes away quickly after the ride.

Ladies! Get this saddle
I have this saddle for my Quintana Roo tt bike. Switching was the best decision I ever made. Prior to switching, my long rides were extremely uncomfortable and because I was so uncomfortable on the saddle, the rest of my body was really tense. After switching (and giving it a couple weeks to get adjusted to) I’m so comfortable on my bike.I typically ride 30-50 mile rides and don’t have any issues.

Dude comfort during IM 70.3 and 140.6... and training
Ok, so one review said this seat "disappeared" under them. I don't know about that, but it was MUCH more comfortable for me than both my Specialized and Fizik seats I had trained with and used previously. I was able to ride and train in aero position easily with this seat with less pinching and chaffing. Works well on my S-Works Shiv.No more numb toesMuch less cream and butter useEasily installed dual bottle cages behind seatI plan on purchasing again for my Cannondale and BMC road bikes.

So far, so good. I'm replacing my 1st generation ISM saddle with this bad boy. I'm a triathlete and this offseason I treated myself to a new saddle for the upcoming season. I've only had a few rides with the new saddle, but I'm really liking it so far. The saddle is a little longer than my previous ISM saddle, and that's fine with me. I'm still fiddling with my saddle position, but due to the longer length (versus my old ISM saddle) I'm going to try to move the position forward a little bit. I have NO doubt I'll put in thousands of miles on this saddle as well! I would recommend this saddle to any TT'er or triathlete.

it has been perfect. Extremely comfortable
I (female) purchased this saddle and have been using it for 6 months. I have completed a century and regular to longer 50-60 mile rides. It took a few weeks to get accustomed to the pressure points but afterwards, it has been perfect. Extremely comfortable. I get tons of compliments on the color and look of this saddle. I am considering purchasing the same saddle but in black, only so I can pair it with more colorful bar tapes.

Found my seat
I waited to write a review after several sessions on the bike. Took me a few rides to get it adjusted the right way. Great seat and relieves pressure when it needs it. I give it four stars because of the hardness of the rest of the seat. However, I do recommend.

It works
I've struggled with saddles on my Specialized Rubaix and had even had a professional bike fit which helped a bit. So I was dubious about this saddle despite reading the reviews and also having a personal recommendation from a friend. I checked all the fitting instructions on the ISM webpage and followed them to the letter, ensuring the that the front was set back and lowering the seat height by 5mm. The first ride felt a little unusual and I struggled to find the most comfortable position but in the end I moved the saddle forward by 5mm and dropped it another 2.5mm after which it got a lot better. Now with two 50 mile plus rides and a couple of time trials I do still feel the unusual width of the saddle but there is no discomfort. I'm really glad I bought this.

Not for me
Good quality saddle that looks a bit odd. However Despite good padding I did not find it to To be comfortable despite lots of tinkering. In particular the width at the nose is too great and rubs.My cheap stock Giant saddle better for me. At this price point I am looking for someting better. Item returned.

Interesting one this, it certainly does stop pressure and numbing of my nether regions but I do find the front feels too wide between my thighs regardless of where I sit on it which tends to make me want to splay my knees out. That cannot be good for my knees long term so I'm still looking at other options.

Poor quality
After 3 months of use the saddle became more uncomfortable, I soon realised the reason why the product has deformed. Shocking quality with no way to return would not recommend as saddle should last longer than this.
