These work better in a dimmable lamp than some others that I've tried. Like those others, these are also made in China; however, these are silent, with none of the annoying hum that you can get with other bulbs of this type.

I couldn't find this bulb at my local hardware store, which was surprising. I ordered this bulb to see how well it worked. It is nice and bright. It is dimmable for when I want to watch TV in low light.

These bulbs put out just the right amount of brightness for anyone needing to do auto mechanics at night or in a dark garage. I also like that they don't produce nearly as much heat as the 500 watt bulbs. Though, they still do get hot because they are halogen bulbs. I use these bulbs to revive an old work light I picked up at an estate sale. Installation was a snap. HINTS: Do not touch the bulb's glass with your bare fingers as the oil on them will cause the bulbs to burn out sooner — wear gloves. If you do touch the bulb's glass, you can clean it with glass cleaner and a soft cloth — just allow the bulb to cool off first.

I needed a single bulb but had to buy a set of 4 instead - nobody sells one bulb reasonably priced. It arrived in a regular envelope - no bubble wrap protection, nothing. Two bulbs out of four were broken. Since I needed only one I let it go. For some reason, it didn't work right in my light fixture with a dimmable switch. I bought a bulb from a different manufacturer and it worked the same way - the light was going darker and lighter all by itself. I had to remove the switch and now use it at the highest setting all the time.

Lo he usado más horas de las que promete el producto y sigue funcionando El empaque promete 1000 horas que en realidad es poco pero por eso ofrecen más bombillas por el precio que otras marcas ofrecen una o dos. Me ha durado más de 2000 horas. Esperemos que cuando esta bombilla caduque las otras funcionan igual de bien.
