This is made great. No leaks. The gauges worked fantastic. After watching some YouTube videos I was able to fix my air conditioner myself. Someone recommended shut offs here. I don’t. I bought some and didn’t use them. Not necessary. It’s up and cooling again. It’s going to get even better though. I put a 4 oz can of stop leak Freon and a 15 oz can of Freon in it. The blue gauge needs to get to 75-80 so it can be much better than this. For this price you can have an American made tool and check your ac even if it’s working. If it’s low and you fill it yourself your bills will go way down. I love this thing. So great to know I can fix acs for the price of Freon now that I have this. Can’t wait for my new can to show up so I can use this to make my ac work way better than it is now. It went from not being able to cool. To working well. But having this I know it’s very low and can be much better. This can save you a ton. It’s something you need but might not even know it. If paying people a ton of money to do something simple isn’t your thing pick this up. Check out You Tube too. Depending on your situation you may need a vacuum. I may have benefited from one. But this and Freon seems to be working well enough I don’t think it’s necessary.

Firstly, I didn't have any problems with leaking like other folks had...maybe I got luck but I had no issues. I hand tightened everything down and it was perfect. The quality feels solid too, just like the professional manifold set for cars I got from my work. The gauge is nice and steady, no bouncing or flicking. It fit our R410 perfectly as well, I didn't have any trouble threading it on. Double check your units, but our low pressure line (blue hose) went to the higher of the two fittings! Also as far as storage goes, I just keep the yellow end attached to the tank with all valves closed, including the one from the tank, and tuck the rest into a box. Given the troubles others are having, maybe I just got extremely lucky, but I'm one of those folks that, if I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck... Anyway, I recommend this set. Got our a AC up and running in literal minutes. We over heat so easily and have pets, so this probably saved our pets lives, and us a lot of misery.

I've used it on residential HVAC. It worked with no leaks or other issues. Obviously not as robust and heavy duty as far more expensive meters. Were my daily job HVAC I'd likely get something else, but for now and again use these are fine and do what you need. As others have reported mine came with a few sheets of instructions which said these were for R134 automotive systems ONLY. Obviously this is completely wrong. I understand them expecting you to know how these work, but putting the wrong instructions and info in the plastic with the gauges makes no sense. They could supply the basic correct instructions for the gauges just as easily. The plastic clamshell they come in isn't good packaging. I almost thought mine were a returned set as the clear plastic that holds the set was taped together and the hoses weren't wound neatly inside. I think it just popped apart and someone taped it together along the way as there was no sign of previous use upon closer inspection. So one star off for deceptive product info in the product and for poor packaging. A more cohesive package would probably prevent some damaged gauges during shipping and handling. Still bottom line, if you need such gauges for some residential or smaller products these will do the job without costing $200.

They are of good quality fit.good and do not have any air or gas leaks, but they had some scratches in the clock area as if they had been previously used. And easy to storage

Pros....Easy to read, hoses have enough length for easy positioning. This unit not real high end but it does the job. The connection sit secure so no leaks. The hose seems to be of good quality for DIYer and Pros, it a nice set of gauges. Cons....Manifold nipples should be a little farther apart from each other. Kind of difficult to screw/ unscrew from the manifold.

The fittings and gauges are higher quality than any of the combo sets (pump and manifold) out there probably. These worked perfectly the first time, no leaks, good reading, and I like the extra hanger for the hoses. I picked up a 1/4 - 5/16 adapter from Yellow Jacket, and was GTG.

Initially, I called a professional service provider to recharge my AC, and I thought the price might be somewhere between $200 and $400—but I was wrong. The first provider quoted $900, and the second quoted $750 per unit. That’s when I put on my DIY hat, rolled up my sleeves, and bought this AC manifold gauge to recharge my 15-year-old R-410A unit myself. Between the manifold gauge and a 25 lb tank of R-410A refrigerant, I spent around $350 and was able to recharge both of my AC units. The manifold was easy to use, fit perfectly on both the low and high-pressure sides, was compact enough to store anywhere, did not leak, and proved to be very durable. Plus, I can reuse it multiple times. Ideal for residential use!

Used this to install a mini split heat pump. The hoses feel of rather high quality, and the connections/valves inspired confidence. The threading was smooth and the fit quite nice. The valves closed tightly and didn't leak, and pressure gauges worked as expected without jumping around or jittering. Does not come with the adapter for mini split systems, but this is not a problem with the product.
