The first time I played Tonari my group played it 6 times in a row. I then promptly purchased it.

Beautiful components, quick and fun game.
Beautiful components and quick game play. Set up is easy. Just distribute the game pieces randomly over the hexes on the game board, select one of two starting places for the boat, and you're ready to go. On your turn, move the boat one space (or occasionally two) to collect a fish or a special tile. Game length varies as it ends when the boat has no more legal moves. In a 3 or 4 player game, your final score is your score plus the score of player on your left, which means there is an element of cooperation in this 10-15 minute competitive game. The insert and art are great. Our family really enjoys Tonari, and we usually plays several games in a row.
