One packet of tablets turned the toilet tank water bright blue. There would be no mistaking a leak into the toilet bowl if you had a leak.

They do what they are supposed to do.

Put 2 in toilet tank, let sit a minute, flushed 1 time to get toilet water uniform blue. Worked perfect - took 6 flushes to get all the blue water gone. It has never stained out white ceramic toilet even if sitting for 4 hours. Stains clothes and fingers. Wear disposable gloves or use a disposable utensil to grab these out of the container or you will have blue fingers for a day.

Easy to use no mess

I owned a drug testing business and we used these for on-site drug tests. They would meet the DOT requirement for specimen collection.

The media could not be loaded. I like the fact that you don't have to use the whole tablet for it to be effective. I usually break the tablet in half.

These tablet do not fully dissolve nor produce as intense a blue dye as the store obtained Fluidmaster detection tablets but are still usable in detecting leaks from tank to toilet. However the undissolved portions of the table that resides in the tank could interfere with the sealing of the flush valve. I plan to return these and purchase instead the liquid version.
