Works well for snow.
I bought this specifically for snow. I was having issues when running in snow. The snow would go up through the body past the wheel wells in the front and deposit near the servo. After running for a bit the snow would continue to pack near the servo arm to the point that it could not move, aka no steering. I've run this a few times now and it did exactly what I hoped. The only snow getting in is through the narrow openings for the steering linkage, I think I could block this as well but it didn't seem like enough got through to cause problems even if I didn't try to remove it for multiple battery packs. I just wire brushed and cleaned the areas where I placed the velcro tape. I got enough to replace a few spots if any were to come off. I don't think it will, it was very sticky. It's nice that you don't have to remove this everytime to swap batteries since there are zippers on both side. I put mine together so the zipper starts in the rear to remove. I can't speak for overheat issues. I'm running in below freezing temps. I'm not sure how well it would hold heat as it's very easy to blow through and the antenna as well as ESC wires keep the center elevated from the fans. See photos for after run results.

Decent but could be better
The hook and hoop that come with it to stick to chassis doesn’t stick well at all, I had to go buy better hook and loop to make it stick to the chassis of the car and not pull off every time I unzip the side

Keeps your car components clean
The rest of the car/truck can get dirty without worrying about the components they will stay nice and clean.

Could damage your RC due to overheating
Just to put out good information for you RC hobbyists out there, not only is the velcro sticky back not good—this shroud also causes overheating of the ESC because it doesn’t allow sufficient airflow into the fans to cool of the heatsinks and nor does it allow heat to escape fast enough. I’ve damaged two ESC thus far—$300 worth of damages.

Worst but at what cost
Fit good, but velcro didn't stick to good and started peeling off. After a mild 15 minute session, my Maxx overheated. Took off the cover and all was good. This was in 70° ambient temperature with plenty of cloud cover.

Not worth it, look for better.
Liked the concept of keeping the electronics clean, but don't like the smaller size then average size. Zippers are not positioned correctly which makes getting to the battery retainer difficult. Velcro applied to a clean dry car (even following the directions which were not included) failed after one run. Spend your money on another brand or make one yourself.

It make the maxx look very nice and clean . You need it to not have big rock in the steering system and small rock in the cooling fan. This thing make you saving money with time .A must have up-hop!

Be very mindful of the operating temperatures with this attached. I noticed that it not only keeps the debris out but the downside is it keeps the heat in. I observed normal operating temperatures to increase by 30-50% during a typical bashing session in an ambient temperature of about 68 degree Fahrenheit, reaching dangerously close to 200 Deg F. Make sure you keep a close eye on temps with either a temp gun or by using the analytics provided by the BT module in the TX.
