Amazon Basics Manila File Folders with Fasteners, 1/3 Cut Reinforced Tab, Letter Size, Expandable, Document Organizer, Beige, 50-Pack

recently purchased the Amazon Basics Manila File Folders with Fasteners, Letter Size, 50-Pack, Beige, and they've quickly become essential for maintaining order in my office. The quality of the manila stock is impressive; it's thick and durable, perfect for daily use without worrying about wear and tear. The built-in fasteners are robust, ensuring that documents stay put, which is crucial for handling multi-page files or important client documents. The letter size fits standard documents perfectly, enhancing the overall functionality of these folders. The 50-pack offers excellent value for the price, providing enough folders for a significant period or for sharing among a small team. They come well-packaged, with no damage upon arrival, which speaks to Amazon's attention to detail in shipping. The only minor downside is that the fasteners can be a bit stiff initially, potentially challenging for those with reduced hand strength, but they do ease up with use. The beige color keeps things professional and blends well in any office environment. Overall, these folders are a solid, practical choice for anyone needing reliable document organization. Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars

I purchased these photos at a reduced cost because the manufacturer offered damaged ones for a lower price, but not for storing papers in! Though buying the slightly damaged pack would, in itself, be a good value, I bought these in order to glean the metal clips from them for cloth mask-making during the pandemic. Yes!! They were perfect in helping me to solve the problem of masks falling off the nose! We trimmed off the centers of each metal strip to divide them into two smooth, narrow strips. When we stitched the side seams of each mask, we left a small opening on one side and inserted a strip into the seam so that the top of the mask could easily be flexed to fit securely over the nose. No more annoying and unsafe slipping, and no more fogging of eye glasses, either! We had an abundant supply to make our own masks and, the remainders soon became on item on hot demand by co-workers all over the company my husband works for! Not the use of these folders one would expect, but perfect for the times to fix a problem we had!

Recibido... Me ENCANTARON!!!

Se recibió pero la caja estaba abierta. Porque el tape que le colocan no sirve.

These work great. Way better than using paperclips to keep files on specific sides of the folder. Easy to use. Worst part is calibrating the hole punch.

I've been using these legal size manila folders with the top fasteners in my work for decades, and always got the "official" ones at my local Staples or OfficeMax, but on my most recent trip to get a box, I took a hard look at the price ($35.99 for 50), and thought to myself, "pretty sure I can do a lot better than that on Amazon." So, yeah ... these folders are a LOT less expensive than the ones I usually get, but they're also not as sturdy. The card stock they're made out of is thinner. The fasteners don't seem as nicely finished either (maybe one coat of paint, rather than two (?) ... more likely to rust if exposed to any moisture/dampness), but they do function the same. If you handle/carry these around a lot, you're going to find that they wear out/get damaged easily, and should probably spend the extra $$ on more durable ones. However, if you only really need these to keep limited, smallish amounts of paperwork organized, and they spend most of their time stored in a file cabinet/box or shelf somewhere, you'll find these an excellent value for that purpose. I think they're made by Smead for Amazon Basics ... a slightly more "budget" version of the folders sold by Smead under their own label. Another good value from Amazon Basics.

I love these they are going to perfect for my class next year

I needed this type of folder for work, so I went one day to a big box office supply store. For a 50 pack of the same type of folders, it would've cost me $39! I went on amazon while standing in the aisle and saw this item. Since I didn't need something super sturdy, I decided to try it out. I wasn't disappointed. They're not as thick or sturdy as the overpriced item, but they're not flimsy either. I'll be buying them again when I run out.

Love these for student portfolios! They get posted on our board all year and continue to add to them throughout the year!
