Hand warming mitts
I purchased these Conair hand warming mitts to help with mild arthritis in my hands, and they’ve also been really helpful for keeping my skin soft—especially during the dry winter months. I wash my hands frequently for work, so they tend to get very dry and irritated, and I was looking for something soothing and restorative. What I like to do is apply lotion to my hands, put on a pair of soft gloves, and then place my hands into the heated mitts. This creates a really nice moisturizing treatment that helps my skin absorb the lotion better while also providing some gentle relief for my hands. The heat is on the milder side—it doesn’t get very hot—so while it does help a bit with comfort and relaxation, I do wish it reached a higher temperature for a stronger therapeutic effect. There is just one heat setting (ON/OFF) No temperature adjustment. That said, the gentle warmth still feels nice and calming but I would have liked the ability to adjust the temperature. Overall, these mitts are a nice option for light soothing, relaxation, and moisturizing treatments at home. They’ve become a part of my self-care routine, and I’m glad I gave them a try.

Arthritis relief!
I have been having aching hands for the past couple of months. I couldn't decide between this and the DreamTime Healing Touch Hand Cozys so I bought both for some heat therapy. I'm keeping both...the total cost of both items ($54.03) seems pretty reasonable, especially considering how much they help. This item, the Conair True Glow Heated Mitts, provides the constant heat. Some have mentioned that it gets really hot. My experience has been that if I start with my hands inside when I plug in, the mitts don't feel too hot. When I first used it, I turned on to warm up without my hands inside...that time I noticed it was pretty hot but I'm sure that's because I didn't let my hands gradually warm up with the gloves to get used to the heat. It's kind of like dropping an egg into a pot of boiling water vs starting with it in room temperature water and then putting it on the stove. Now, the reason I kept the DreamTime Hand Cozyz. I microwaved those mitts but as many other reviewers for that item have noted, they don't stay warm as long as these. The pros of the HandCozy are that the scented herb packets are soothing and seem to give off a moist heat. In general, the HandCozys are more snuggly feeling with the velvet liners. When the heat wore off, I took the scented packets out of the velvet casing and put in the Conair mitts. Best of both worlds! Someone said the Conair mitts are too big but I disagree. They are roomy enough to slide in one of the packets AND for me to do my hand stretching exercises at the same time. An added bonus is that my hands feel super soft. I'm totally addicted to the heat therapy that both of these products provide together.

Needs some time to heat up
These work out okay. I use these for my jaw, which helps relieve inflammation. I also use this for inflammation on my wrist that I have issues with. I put my hand in paraffin wax, then in a plastic bag, and then put my hand into the heated gloves. The heat can get quite hot, so be careful. The heating on these are a bit unequal sometimes, meaning it is nicely heated on the edges of the gloves and then cools quite a bit in the middle. I find the gloves aren't consistently hot, therefore I have to switch gloves every now and then. It's a little similar to using a heating iron for hair, once you use it for a bit, you have to wait for it to heat up again.

for hands that be crackin up cuz yous funny
Alright as a frigkin hilarious person, my hands always be cracking up. That or my debilitating eczema which ive had since like 4... These mitts do exactly what they are created for. theres nothing nice or cute or bougie about them theyre like this tough plastic foamy contraption for your hands to get warmed up/hot in. i use the max setting because i need it for my eczema to just be able to absorb my creme or lotion sometime. i use cotton gloves over my creme or ointment lathered hands and stick them into these babies. what happens when you have eczema and ur hands are cold is they get really itchy dry and blood flow sucks. when you put lotion on at this state sometimes, it just irritates and causes ur hands to get more itchy and u end up scratching off whatever lotion u put on and then ended up in a worse state. these gloves help me warm up my hands to 'accept' the lotion/creme/ointment and ensures that when i wake up my hands arent cold rigid and beat up from my night scratching. they say not to sleep with it on, but i do it anyways. i wake up in the middle of the night and turn it off. if it catches on fire, i have a feeling ill be able to tell when im sleeping. i wish the wires were a little longer between the two mitts though. get it if you or a loved one has eczema on their hands. its an extra measure to keep around the house when things get too funny for ur hands and they be crackin up all the frigkin time :)

Best Thing I've ever bought
I got these because I'm having issues with my hands and my Physical Therapist suggested wet heat. I took lotion and then put clean socks on my hands and they felt so much better, but they also felt so much softer as well. I am thinking about seeing if they have a version for the feet. *Update* Still think this is the best thing ever, although I would like to suggest maybe putting something over your hands if your going to use it on high. It does get a little too hot for bare fingers on high. I usually use a pair of socks that haven't been used but a towel or some type of mit would work as well. I still have no regrets buying this.

Warm, not Hot
As a kinda-warmer these are great. But they do NOT get very warm at all. The first one got all the way up to TEPID, or "kinda warm" so Amazon sent me a new one (gotta love Amazon customer service). The second one was the same - not very warm, even on the hottest setting. One previous user had said that the highest setting would actually burn your hands, but the two sets I received would not even get remotely close to this kind of heat. IF you purchase them, just make sure they are returnable in case they do not live up to your expectations. I do highly recommend Conair products, but these are not what I expected. 5 stars became 2 stars because of the heat issue. Then I added 1 star because of Amazon's amazing customer service.

Great for sore hands!
I got these as a therapeutic treatment for my sore hands. I was going to an OT and she would wrap my hands in hot towels before we started, and the heat made such a difference that I wanted something I could use at home. These are perfect -- I look forward to my "hot hands" session every night, and it has really helped the soreness. Having the heat all around my hands is much more effective than putting them on a heating pad, and I don't have to keep reheating anything -- just plug in and relax. So I can't speak to how these work as a spa treatment, but they work great for heat therapy!

Waste of Money--Barely Any Heat on the Highest Setting
UPDATE: I did receive some money back, but I had to go through Conair, themselves, and it took several weeks to receive a check. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I am so disappointed in this product, and I did not realize there are no returns! Total waste of money. :( I literally received it yesterday, and now I'm stuck with it. AND I have to find something better, which means more money. I have a rare connective tissue condition called systemic sclerosis (which you can see in the unfiltered photo--that is not from the mitts), and I need to keep my hands warm to keep them flexible and prevent them from permanently becoming stuck in the shape of claws. I thought this product would be an amazing tool for helping me do that--easier, cheaper, less messy, and more efficient than daily paraffin wax treatments. Its seemed like a perfect solution. But I am blown away by how little heat is emitted from this product. I don't know what other people are talking about saying that the mitts get too hot--on the highest setting, you can barely tell they're on!!! My normal large heating pad is at least 3x warmer with consistent heating, and I assumed this would have equivalent temperatures. What little heat is generated in these mitts is also focused one side of the mitt only, and the heat is not constant. The best product I have found so far are the Ocoopa hand warmers, but those are devices you have to hold in your own hands, and they only heat the parts of your palms and fingers that are touching the heated areas. Maybe these mitts are enough heat if you need as little as possible. But if you have systemic sclerosis, find a better heated mitt product.

Stopped working after two months of minimal use
Bought this item in August and used maybe 3 or 4 times then just stopped working altogether, wont switch on, nothing. Don't know if it even comes with a 12 month warranty or if it does it's unclear how to go about returning a faulty item as it has been shipped from overseas.

Overall ok but the heat are not consistent
Sometime the gloves produce more heat and sometime only warm

Great for arthritic hands
My husband has arthritis in his hands. He found trying to use a microwavable bag inefficient. He really likes these. Turns them on and can slip his hands in and out with ease. They are well made with decent heat settings. Wish they had a timer.
