Very good bit of kit, lots of fun comes with some good prepared slides like this house fly leg, the zoom is very impressive, its a good unit for a beginner that doesn't want to spend hundreds! The phone adapter is good - I've not even used the eyepiece... Tardigrades rotifers everything you could want!

Bought this as a surprise gift for my daughter who was in her 1st year Chemistry, Biology A-Levels. Its heavy and looks really good quality. She loved it.

I bought the microscope for my grandson for Christmas, he will really love it.

You can’t see anything out of it and it was just a waste of money

The media could not be loaded. The microscope is fairly sturdy and operation is easy. The 40x lens needs a brighter light really, but 4x and 10x work ok. I was very disappointed that the phone adapter is such a poor fit - i get a better image capture just holding my phone which is very fiddly and time consuming. Having used adapters with telescopes before, this was a real let down.
