This is my third time to buy this brand. I keep them in different places in my home to fix any kind of problem that may come up that requires a dependable tweezer.

Mehaz is the clear winner when it comes to tweezers. All the other drugstore also-rans just don't cut it.I have been using this tweezer type and brand for years. The rough stuff on the gripping tips is what does the trick, but it does wear over time if you use them frequently. But at the same time it's that slightly rough tip that makes them grip better than the rest. They don't slip off a hair, splinter, or whatever I try to get a grip on. Don't you just hate having to squeeze really hard on a hair, only to have the tweezers slip off over and over? Ouchie! These tweezers don't do that. They grip like tweezers should, and take some of the frustration out of using tweezers.I have looked and looked at all the stores where I'd expect to find a decent pair of tweezers to no avail. Unfortunately these type tweezers do have to be replaced over time (when the tips start slipping like all those other also-rans did when they were new), so when I locate a source, I usually latch on to a couple of extra pair, before the source drys up... not this time though... I'm putting my faith in Amazon continuing to be a reliable source for hard to find items, even if a particular seller goes away.

Sent the first pair back because the tip was misaligned with one leg wider than the other and they just slid right off the hair. The second pair works as intended, most of the time, but the fine German workmanship and superior quality is no longer there since they moved to Italy. I had a pair of Mehaz #135 from years ago and they felt and worked totally different. Still and all they are better than Tweezerman by a long shot.

I have been searching FOR YEARS for a tweezer that had the same grip as the one I grew up with at my moms house. She must’ve had the same brand because no other tweezers no matter how expensive have been able to grip on to the tiniest eyebrow hair and pull them accurately the first try. No slip, no excessive pinching. Just a fast clean removal so you can move on. I’m about to order some extra’s. This is a great brand.

Ever since my best tweezers were confiscated at the Cancun airport, my life has not been the same. I've purchased countless replacements over the years with limited success. I waited a week to break these in before writing a review. Wow! This pair is extremely precise! I was skeptical but I've been so impressed with these tweezers.

I have one that I bought years ago love them. I bought it at a beauty supply store here in town and paid twice what I paid for them on Amazon. They get the very fine hairs and are comfortable in your hand, easy open and close. Nice sharp edge without cutting skin.

Four stars because they were only eight bucks and worked pretty darn well. But, they are kind of clunky and not very precise. Consequently I pinch the skin and draw blood a lot, which I almost never did with my older Rubis tweezers. But did I mention that they were only eight bucks?

Not the quality I purchase from Sally's Beauty. Disappointed
